Intentional Toast

Jiayuan's POV

"Excuse me! Why is it so quiet, is everyone asleep? It's only 10 pm hmmm..." I came out of my luxurious palace, I mean my room, to TV room.

"So boring..." I go to kitchen, usually Lin Mo have ice cream in freezer. When I arrived at dining room, I saw Keyu sitting there.

"What you doing here?" I didn't mean to startle him, but he seemed surprised hear my voice. But it's his fault, why he sitting lowkey there in the middle of night?

"Can't you see it? I'm eating. How about you?" Keyu is eating toast.

"Me? Hmmm. I'm just boring in my room." I sit beside Keyu, I couldn't tell him if I wanted to steal Lin Mo's ice cream.

"That looks really yummy!" I glanced at toast on Keyu's plate waiting for him to offer me, the smell of that toast really make me even more hungry.

"Yeah, it's really good." Just like that? He's just going to eat by himself and just let me just watch him eat?

"Strawberry jam?" I ask again.

"Yeah." Lowkey I brought my hand closer to Keyu's toast, then...

"What you doing?" Keyu caught my hand which holding toast on his plate.

"Just one. You still have one more anyway."

"No! Make it yourself!" Keyu let go of my hand after I put his toast back on plate.

"Are you that hungry?!" I sit beside Keyu while looking at him salty.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at him or anything. It's just, because I'm shocked. Our Keyu that I know will definitely share his food with me, even if he just has one toast. I think he is just really hungry now.

While I still busy staring at Keyu's toast on plate with almost drooling, I heard voice from basement. And after that, Xiao Jiu and Patrick appeared and walked into kitchen.

"Patrick, you still haven't stopped?!" I asked.

"Hi Jiayuan, Daniel!" Patrick said as he continued hug Xiao Jiu like a koala, and followed Xiao Jiu going to kitchen.

"Since when Patrick like that?" Keyu asked me.

"He's been like that since this afternoon. Poor Xiao Jiu." I shook my head.

Yeah, since he came home from work this afternoon. Patrick can't stop hug his gege, following Xiao Jiu wherever Xiao Jiu go, to courtyard, TV room, Xiao Jiu's room, until now.

"Why we don't have some food in fridge...?" I heard Xiao Jiu's voice complaining in kitchen from where I sit in dining room. Then suddenly...

"There's nothing there. Are you hungry?" I heard Keyu's voice.

"Yeah... I feel so hungry suddenly..." Xiao Jiu said from kitchen.

"Came here. I have toast here." What the hell?!!

"Really?"

"Yeah!" Xiao Jiu came out from kitchen and sit across me and Keyu, of course still with Patrick that clinging like a koala hugging Xiao Jiu. Keyu brought his plate closer to Xiao Jiu and Patrick. I really feel betrayed.

"Patrick, you eat too." Said Keyu.

"Thank you Daniel." Patrick took toast and ate it, while sitting still hugging Xiao Jiu.

"How can Xiao Jiu can eat if you hugging him like that?" I said to Patrick.

"I haven't seen Phi for three days, I really miss Phi Nine. I'm so glad Phi Nine smiling again..." Patrick didn't want to let go of his embrace, Xiao Jiu just laughing and stroked his didi's hair.
