As september 29th drew closer and closer Remus began to get more paranoid, he was quicker to anger. James and Sirius had to hold him back from punching Snape on a few occasions. Remus was also doubting himself a lot more, when those around him called him 'looney lupin' James and Sirius had to hold him back from punching the kid but now Remus was just accepting it.

'Yeah I am a bit looney aren't i? I turn into a vicious werewolf every month'

Remus was also neglecting what he loved to do the most, the map. The boys noticed this and asked if he was feeling okay, he snapped at them. On that same night he doubted himself, he told himself that he was a bad person and worse than that he was an even crappier friend. Everyone would be better off and happier if I weren't here. Remus told himself stupidly.

Remus also felt much more self insecure during the full moon, he always did feel more insecure but for some reason it was worse, much worse here at Hogwarts then what it was at the home. Remus tended to start waking up an hour before the other boys.

He used this time to go to the shower, to burn away everything bad for as long as he possibly could. Remus had the water too hot even for him, there were countless times that he had burnt himself from the temperature of the water.

Remus wasn't parcataing in any of the classes, not even history of magic, charms or transfiguration which were his favourites. Remus never raised his hand in any of his questions, he didn't talk to his work partners, he didn't talk to James, Sirius or peter like he'd normally do, he didn't pass notes in class like he'd normally do, he only ever spoke when spoken to an if he could he got out of that as well.

He ate only as much as a normal person would, the other boys picked this up and were starting to get nervous. They tried tricking him into eating more but somehow Remus always knew when they'd done this.

Remus went to the hospital wing three hours before sunset like he was supposed to do, he just told his friends that he was feeling unwell and he was going to go to the hospital wing, which was as close to the truth as Remus could tell them. There waiting at the hospital wing was none other than Professor McGonagall and the little friendly nurse.

"Come along, Mr. lupin we've organised somewhere you can do your transformations safley where you can't hurt anyone or anything, including yourself we hope'' they led him out of the castle towards the whomping willow, McGonagall transformed into her aimagus, a cat, and ran up right to the trunk. She touched something and the tree stopped moving. Then she slide down a human sized hole, remus followed, he slid down feet first and after he curled himself into a ball to minimise impact damage, McGonagall was there, in her human form and helped him up, than The little witch slid down and landed up right on her feet

"Right this way, Remus" he followed her down a tunnel and then they were in a two or three story shack.

"No one can get in here from the outside, we enchanted it when we leave. I'll enchant it so that you can't leave, okay?" McGonagall asked, Remus nodded his head, yes.

"See you tomorrow, Mr. Lupin" the little witch said as she and McGonagall were leaving, Remus felt the enchantments being placed, it was another half hour or so before the transformation started. Remus screamed and wailed, it hurt so much.

After the transformation was complete all Remus could remember was howls and claws, the wolf took over Remus and Remus had no control. over what he did, Remus can never really remember his transformations only constant howling, snarling and scratching sometimes there was biting. Matron always made him feel guilty about it remus hoped that this kind little lady they have isn't like matron.

The following morning Remus felt sore everywhere his legs, his arms, his neck and his feet. but most of all where he felt the most sore, were his wrists. Remus glanced at them and he could tell that he scratched them straight away. nothing too bad, luckily but they were still pretty scratched up. He also looked at his hands and feet, they were burnt before from his showers and now they were scratched up as well. The little nurse entered the shack a few minutes later, Remus tried to sit up wincing everytime he moved too quickly or just moved.
