"jin!"

seokjin looked up from his laptop, gasping at the sight of hoseok, yoongi and Taehyung entering his office.

"guys!" he smiled, standing up to hug the three of them.

"how are you?" jin asked, hugging hoseok after he was done hugging yoongi, which he did for long time.

"i'm fine." hoseok smiled. "you've gotten more handsome than last time i saw you!"

jin laughed, playfully winking at him as he pulled away from the hug and turned to taehyung.

"taehyung." he sighed, hugging the youngest in the room. "it's been a long time, huh. been almost a year since i didn't see you."

"yeah, you're just so busy! we only talked through calls and texts! the last time i saw you was when-" he suddenly went quiet, lips pursed into a thin line.

"was during her funeral." jin completed. "i remember. are you okay?"

"i'm okay." taehyung nodded, blinking back the tears that stung his eyes. "i'm doing better now. i'm clean for months now."

"that's my boy," jin smiled, ruffling his hair. "have a seat, all of you. i'll get you all something to eat."

"no, it's okay!" taehyung denied. "we just had some food on our way here. we don't wanna trouble you."

"you're saying that after troubling me for all my life." jin scoffed. "shut up and sit."

he took a seat on his swivel chair and picked up the telephone. he dialled in a number and started speaking.

"hello? please get some snacks in my office. right now." he said. "yes. i'll be waiting." he put the telephone back and then stood up, walking to the couch and taking a seat on the armchair.

"so? what brings you here?"

"let's go on a vacation." yoongi said. "you asked me about this, remember? i told you i'll ask hoseok and taehyung. they both agreed."

"really?"

"yep!" taehyung nodded, smiling. "what place did you have in mind?"

"i was thinking paris, i know we went there before too but i've got a meeting there and im missing paris a lot!." jin said.

"me too!" hoseok said.

"joon suggested me that. i think we should just surprise him with the tickets." jin grinned. "i'll tell my secretary to book the tickets."

"but what about you? who's gonna look after the company?"

"i'll call my dad over. he keeps telling me to take a break, so i might as well." jin grinned. there was a knock on the door and jin cleared his throat.

"come in."

a girl poked her head before entering the room with a tray in her hand. she walked to them and bent down, keeping the tray on the table.

"thank you." taehyung said while she just bowed once before leaving the room.

"that's my new secretary." jin said, gesturing them to eat. "her name's grace. she's half american."

"she's pretty." taehyung smiled. "anyways, you need to visit my new apartment once! you promised me you would!"

"i will, kid. i will." jin sighed. "i have a client coming over now. so i think i should get back to work. but feel free to stay here." he smiled.

there was a knock on the door. "come in." jin called out. his secretary walked in with a few files in her hands.

"sir, here are the files you wanted. i need your signatures on this."
