arms thrown up in air, people danced to some upbeat music on the dance floor.

"hey yugyeom!" a deep voice called over the music and jeongguk looked to his right, seeing a boy waving at them. jeongguk waved at him and led the others to where the boy was.

"we... waited you." the boy said in his broken korean, pointing at the all of them with a wide smile.

"you were waiting for us?" yugyeom asked and the boy quickly nodded.

"let's go." jack said and led them all to a side. yugyeom looked around the big table and spotted his friend.

"hey louis!" yugyeom smiled when the brown haired boy looked up and smiled at him widely, running towards him and hugging him.

"happy birthday, man! how's it been? how are you? are you eating well? and what happened with your girlfriend?" yugyeom asked.

"thank you. i'm fine. yes, im eating well."

"and what about your girlfriend? where is she?"

louis shrugged, looking at the others.

"it's okay, you can go ahead. we don't mind." jennie said.

louis stood up on his toes and cupped yugyeom's ear, whispering something. yugyeom's eyes widened but he put on a natural look, nodding and patting the birthday boy's shoulder.

"let's go back there. everyone's playing spin the bottle. you wanna join?"

"sure. let's go!" lisa nodded excitedly and everyone made their way to the table, making space for themselves in the crowd of strangers.

crowds of strangers pushed taehyung from side to side, probably too drunk to notice the boy making his way across the room. it was currently almost one a.m. and taehyung was taking a walk around the pretty streets of paris when he noticed someone familiar entering a house.

with furrowed brows, he pretended to know the host of the party and got in, shoulders squared and neck held up high. but he soon got lost in the crowded hall, his shoulders hunched in as he looked around with wide eyes, gasping as a girl bumped into him. he gripped onto her arm, helping her balance and she looked at him with a drunk smile plastered on her face. taehyung grabbed her arm tighter and gulped, wincing as the girl was harshly pulled away from him.

"go away! don't even think about it!" a soft voice shouted, panic lacing the vowels. taehyung tried to take a look at the boy's face but the other was busy checking his supposedly girlfriend. "don't you feel asham-" his lips sealed shut and taehyung gasped, rubbing his eyes as he looked into the guy's eyes.

"you? again!?" jeongguk frowned. he seemed bolder and taehyung guesses he had some drinks.

"hi there." taehyung smiled awkwardly. "i wasn't touching your friend or whoever she is. someone pushed her and she was going to fall, i just held her up."

"isn't he sooo handsoooome, gguk?" lisa slurred, "do you want me to set your gay ass up with him? if he's straight, he'll turn gay for you." she giggled loudly, her voice undeniably loud, clear over the music.

"what the-"

"i-i'm sorry, she talks about stupid things when she's drunk." jeongguk stumbled over his words as he wrapped an arm around lisa's waist, the other over her mouth. 

"but you said he was hot!" her voice was muffled behind his palms but it was still clear. taehyung raised an eyebrow and jeongguk's face flushed, blood rushing up to his cheeks and nose and making him feel all hot.

"what is she-"

jeongguk laughed loudly— awkwardly. "stupid things. i told you she babbles things when she's drunk. don't listen to her, haha." jeongguk smiled uneasily, hoping to get away from this guy he kept bumping into everywhere. "u-uh you know what? i need to go right now." and he quickly disappeared into the room.

taehyung sighed and grabbed a glass, a liquid, what seemed like water, in it. he gulped it down in one go, grunting as it travelled down his throat.

"damn, that tasted shit." he said before getting himself another glass, gulping down the same liquid.

he walked around for some more minutes, searching for a particular someone. taehyung could see the room spinning and a throbbing pain shot through his head.

"ow, that hurts a bit." he mumbled, rubbing his temples as he made his way out of the room. the music was too loud. but while going, he saw the one he was searching. with someone who he never thought would be this stupid.

he saw his ex-boyfriend with jeonppuk.
