"sir," grace entered the office, breathing heavily. "so sorry, i'm late!" she bowed deeply, not noticing the three other males looking at her in amusement.
"grac-"
"i was booking tickets last night and my laptop died in the process, so i had to do it all over again. a-and my mobile was dead so my alarm didn't ring. it won't happen again, please don't fire me!" she said in a single breath.
"get up." seokjin said. she slowly stood up straight, gasping in surprise when she saw taehyung, yoongi and hoseok standing there, smiling at her. seokjin led her inside and gave her a glass of water.
"hi!" taehyung said.
"h-hello." grace muttered, looking down at her feet.
"why aren't you wearing your shoes?" hoseok asked. she slowly pulled out her hand, which was hiding behind her back all this time.
she was holding her heels in her hand, the heel of the left shoe broken.
"it broke while i was running." she grinned sheepishly. "but i have some glue with me!" she then said.
"go fix it and sit quietly for a few minutes." jin said, pointing to the couch. she nodded, following his orders.
"anyways, i came here just to say this. i'm gonna leave now." taehyung said. "let's go hoseok hyung." then, taehyung and hoseok left.
yoongi sighed. "i'm just gonna talk with namjoon about this. don't worry."
"are you sure?"
"yeah." yoongi nodded, "i'll get going."
seokjin nodded, hugging him goodbye. the younger left and grace looked up at him.
"sir,"
"drop the act." seokjin said, "it's only us."
"what happened to him?"
"he's facing some problems at work. and i don't really know much about music. but him and joon spent a lot of time together when they were in university. so joon knows about music. i told him to ask him for help."
"oh, alright." she nodded, pressing on her heels.
"did you book the tickets?"
"yep. the flight is exactly 1 and a half month later." she nodded.
"how many tickets did you book?"
"five?"
"okay, good." seokjin nodded. "thank you very much."
"it's my duty." she grinned.
"what's our schedule for today?"
"well, we have a meeting at twelve with mr. choi..."

"hyung! he booked the tickets!" taehyung shouted and yoongi looked up from his laptop, eyebrows raised.
"who booked whose tickets?"
"what tickets?" hoseok asked.
"the tickets for our vacation. to paris! we're going to paris in one and a half month!" taehyung exclaimed.
"what!?" yoongi gasped, standing up in shock. "i thought he was joking."
"well, jokes on you, yoon! it's done!" seokjin said through the call. "let's just go to paris now!"
"i'm broke?" yoongi shouted.
"and i'm a ceo?" seokjin answered back in the same tone.
"and? don't rub it in my fucking face!" yoongi grumbled to himself and seokjin laughed.
"anyways, start packing. were going for a month and all bookings are already done."
"is the call on speaker?" taehyung asked. seokjin hummed.
"yeah, grace is with me."
"thank you, grace!" taehyung said loudly.
"it's no problem!" she could be heard lightly over the phone.
"i called just to tell you this. i'm gonna go now. joon will be here."
"alright." taehyung nodded, hanging up the call as he threw the mobile aside.
"what date is it?" he asked. "i need to pick up my clothes from the laundr-"
"it's 7 today." hoseok answered, sitting beside his boyfriend, the two of them doing something on the laptop. taehyung stopped mid-yawn.
"it's 7?"
"yeah?" yoongi nodded, confused. "why?"
taehyung threw himself on the mattress, grabbing his mobile to check the date. "oh my god," he quickly stood up with the mobile, rushing to the door and pulled off his coat from the hook.
"guys, i'm gonna have to go somewhere real quick. i'll be back in an hour or so." he said hurriedly, struggling to put in his shoes. once he successfully did, he rushed out the house, ignoring the way yoongi and hoseok were shouting his names.
the shouts became muffled and taehyung could hear his erratic breathing. he could hear his own heartbeat drumming against his ears. his head spinned. taehyung didn't know what was happening. he bumped into a person, but he didn't care. he didn't stop. he couldn't stop. he ran down the busy streets. people looked at him weirdly but he didn't care. all he could see was her face. her bloody face. he could hear her words echoing in his ears. words were muffled, sure, but he could understand them.
"t-tae, take care, please," her broken voice was ringing in his head and taehyung squeezed his eyes shut. "you'll come looking for me, right? i-i have yo-you." the day she said those words through the phone, taehyung remembered it as clear as day. he could hear people muttering in the background but no one helped her. no one. everyone watched her talk to her boyfriend as if she wasn't laying on the road, covered in the blood. "i-i lo-love you." taehyung a pathetic whimper escaped taehyung's lips and tears started welling up in his eyes. his legs trembled under him and his pace slowed down. hands shaking by his side, taehyung let out a loud sob, covering his mouth. he turned left and right, knowing the directions clearly.
and within a few minutes, he was near his girlfriend's grave. falling onto his knees, he bent down his head, covering his face with his hands.
"i'm sorry, love..."
