As Tej approached Shivaay, for answers, for the first time in a long time he ignored Tej Singh Oberoi's omnipotence. "Bade papa...not now!" Shivaay ran towards Annika, picked her up swiftly in his arms, and carried her to her quarters. "Mr. Oberoi, welcome back home!" Om welcomed his father, sarcastically. " Would be nice to hear you call me father Omkara! What's up with Shivaay? What is this chaos? Look at the bloody mess!" Tej was going on when OmRu looked at each other and burst out laughing. "Tej uncle! How are you? So nice to have you back!" Tia welcomed him at last. "Finally someone normal that I can talk to!" He gave her a hug. "I spoke to your dad, I can't thank you enough for all that you are doing Tia!" Tej shook her hands. "Oh...don't mention uncle! Dad and your happiness is everything to me!" Tia cajoled him like the good daughter in law he always wanted.
"I knew I made the right decision when I asked Shivaay to get married to you!" Tej beamed. OmRu passed a suspicious look between them.
"By the way who is that girl? Is she a friend of yours?" Tej enquired surprised, that his nephew who never failed to greet him, bluntly ignored him...that's also for some silly weak girl?
"She's Annika Didi papa!Yes she is Bhaiya's friend so our friend too!" Rudy exclaimed with a big smile on his face.
"Err...She's my assistant uncle! She's quiet good...but you know these boys..they always make friends with people so easily!" Tia explained.
"Assistant or friend Tia..There always has to be a line...help cannot be friends...period! Time to make a decision before it's too late!" Tej warned. OmRu's faces darkened as they knew their father was brewing up something that Shivaay will have to drink again, whether he liked it or not. Perhaps this time, he might lose something more valuable to him than he knew.

Shivaay placed Annika on the sofa. He couldn't help but tuck away the fine hair falling on her face. She looked so calm, and serene when she was asleep. He pressed his ear closer to her face, and thankfully she was breathing normally. He placed his hand on her forehead and she was a bit warm, but it must have been Rudy's punch. As she was safe now, he recalled, that Bade papa was home, and he had to face the dragon whether he liked it or not. Shivaay stood up to leave, and he was stopped by the sound of Annikas mumbling. It looked as if she was having a nightmare. "No...papa...don't...don't leave me....don't leave me...!" She started to cry out loud. Her forehead was getting clammy, and she was shivering. "Annika...Annika wake up...you..you are having a nightmare! WAKE UP!" Shivaay shook her unable to tolerate her pain. He hated it when she cried. He didn't know why...but he just hated it! Annika opened her eyes for a second and then passed out again. Shivaay let out a sigh, and tried to walk away again when she held on to his hand and pulled him back. Losing his balance he almost fell on top of her. "Annika I have to go now!" He pleaded rather annoyed at her childish behaviour. Annika slowly opened her eyes like a child who wakes up from an evening nap, and squished his face with both her palms and laughed out loud.
"You look like a fish!" She started contorting her face trying to mimic him. Shivaay couldn't help but smile, she was being an idiot! A drunk idiot!
"I doubt it...but it's okay! I'll let it pass this time since you are not in your senses!" He held her hands tight as she was playing with his face. She continued to stare at him, with her big brown eyes. "Now what? Now what's on my face?" Shivaay asked this time truly annoyed. " Your eyes...they are gorgeous...are they blue? Green? Grey? So confusing....I think they are blue...!" She fluttered her eyes in confusion. Shivaay felt warm on his cheeks, and back of his ears, as she went on to stare into his eyes. " Err...okay...I think you are too drunk...go to sleep now!" He ordered her. "Hey Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi...Annika doesn't take orders from anybody...especially not from you! Stop disturbing me....!" She peered in to his eyes again making him uncomfortable. Shivaay got up to leave and she pulled him back down again. "Oi Billu Ji...I am not done yet...I want to see which colour they change into next! When you are angry they are almost black...when you are happy..they turn sky blue...when you are working your brain, they turn emerald green...when you are sad...they turn in to a deep blue...like the ocean...I just don't know the colour right now...it's...it's a mix of green...light blue..." Annika started investigating. She was drunk for sure, but Shivaay couldn't understand the extent she had noticed how the colours of his eyes changed with his emotions. "You...You.. notice me that much?" He blurted out confused, and overwhelmed by a warm fuzzy feeling, that he has never felt before. " Awwww look at you...blushing! So cute!" Annika pulled his cheek. "OUCH!" Shivaay held his face like a scorned child. " Oh...sorry...did that hurt? This will fix it!" She placed a peck on his cheek. Shivaay froze for a minute or maybe even two. He wasn't expecting that at all. His heart skipped a few beats the moment her lips touched his cheek. It felt like a dream, that could never ever happen in real life! "Okay....I am sleepy...good night!" Annika fell back on the couch again, and started snoring, with her mouth slightly open. Still unable to believe what happened Shivaay pinched his cheek again "Ouch!". Shaking his head, he quickly took the opportunity to run away from her. He rather deal with the fire breathing dragon inside the mansion than this right now.
