Annika locked the door in the bedroom behind her. She opened her fist to find the brass key that was embedded in the picture frame. The key was rather small, indicating that it may not be a key to a door. It probably opened something small like a safety deposit box. She examined the key, and saw that it's head was designed with two letter "S"'s entwined together. It looked as if one was a reflection of another. Annika was intrigued, what secrets will be unraveled with this key. It clearly was important to Shakti Singh Oberoi. Otherwise he wouldn't have gone through all the trouble to hide the key inside the family portrait. But wasn't this portrait made after his demise? Pinky and Shakti wasn't even there in this portrait. Perhaps the Oberoi's used the same old frame to replace theirs with the new one? She made a mental note to ask Daadi about it. She would know for sure.

She suddenly heard the devil approaching and she could sense the frustration as he struggled to open the locked door

She suddenly heard the devil approaching and she could sense the frustration as he struggled to open the locked door. "OI witch! Open the door NOW!". She felt a bit of satisfaction as she left him hanging outside the door. She quickly hid the key inside the wardrobe drawer, when an angry S.S.O., kicked the bedroom door open. "What the fuck do you think you are doing?" He approached her with his nostrils flaring and she gestured him to stop.

"Look....I was about to change! That's why the door was locked. If you knocked like a normal person I would have opened the door! By the way, I don't want to get in your way! And you shouldn't get in mine either! I hate you! Wait a minute let me rephrase that, I really really really HATE YOU! And I know you do too..So can we just be civil about all of this? Draw up some boundaries? At least by now you would have realised that I am not going to back off!" She tried reasoning with a man who just kicked the door down.

S.S.O recalled how convincing she played her role earlier even convincing Tej Singh Oberoi. After all his plan was in motion despite Annika's presence.

"Proceed..." He crossed his arms interested in what Annika has to say.

"How about we be honest to each other? I want to find out who killed my father and bring them to justice. I know you wanted to find out about this mysterious organisation, and I know that you wanted the Oberoi empire to be free..is that what you still want?" She asked, trying to figure out whose side S.S.O truly was on. If he was partial to the organisation, perhaps this operation, "switch Shivaay Singh Oberoi" was carried out by them.

"That idiot has shared too much with the witch!" S.S.O thought to himself.

" I think we can help each other!" Annika improvised. " How?" He raised an eyebrow.

" So you told me, that Tia, when she married you, she was going to inherit 50% of your shares and that somehow affected your safety?".

" Err..Yes..." He rolled his eyes thinking Shivaay is totally crazy to be sharing everything with this woman.

" I think it's something else! I don't think it's just the shares!" She started deducing almost forgetting that this was not her Shivaay.
