Annika met with Shravaan as usual and offered him a sandwich. He still ate it as if it was the most delicious thing he's ever had. "You should taste your brothers Aloo Poori! They are Devine!" Annika said. "Oh really? Tell me more...so you said there is Daadi...I have younger cousins Om and Rudra?" He asked again for the umpteenth time. It was as if he was living vicariously through her stories about his family. " Anni...Tell me more?" He pleaded. "I have told you everything about them! You have the best family in the world Shrav! They are all so loving, caring, and they would do anything for each other! Especially Shivaay! He lives for his family!". Shravaan pushed his half eaten sandwich aside. "But...then...why didn't he come looking for me? All these years?" He had asked this question repetitively every day for the past month. "Shrav...I told you..he got really really sick after he lost you...he couldn't remember...the moment he remembered, he sent me to you!" She pacified him. Sometimes communicating with Shravaan, was exhausting. He forgot things quickly, and she had to repeat the same thing over and over at times. Annika did it with patience, as she knew all the trauma he had gone through. She was lucky the general could care less, about their secret meetings, and Veer Kaka kept it under mums for her. She recalled the time she asked him about his scar, and he got so so upset that he started to hurt himself, throwing everything around him. It was a painful memory for him. He kept calling out to Shivaay. "Shiv Bhai...help...Shiv Bhai...don't leave me!" Finally once she managed to calm him down, he crouched himself into a ball and sobbed. Sometimes Annika couldn't help but feel that Shravaan resented Shivaay, despite the excitement whenever she brought him up in her stories. "Shrav...you know your brother loves you? He was just as little as you, when you were kidnapped. He couldn't have done much alone could he? Trust me once you meet him, you will see, he's the best brother in the world. He will do anything for you! Even if that means turning the world upside down, or even if it's the stars and moon you are asking for!" She could swear by it. Shivaay was that kind of brother. Shravaan smiled and gobbled down the last bit of the sandwich. "I just wanna eat these everyday! That's all!" He laughed. Annika felt relieved seeing a ray of hope in his face.

It was almost hard to find a loophole in it. Transferring ownership to HTC meant, that Oberoi empire officially, being released from the hand of the organisation. She had an intricate process in place to launder the money, through bank loans, and funnelling the trust fund through the Oberoi Foundation. This would benefit the youth in need for rehabilitation, even giving the organisation, a minuscule chance at redemption. Her motive was to establish and operate HTC legally, making the Oberoi's irrelevant to the organisation anymore. She had created the perfect laundromat for them. But in the process, she had forgotten that she is shaking hands with the devil. She may be playing double agent, for now but when push comes to shove, will she be safe? Shravaan in exchange of the Blue corp, sounds like a fair deal in all of this. But Annika's safety was compromised. She was as important as Shravaan to Shivaay. Making her as equally important to him.

At the playground, Annika had reassured him, that Bhavya was onboard and assured her of immunity once she brings in evidence as a double agent. She also didn't want to sabotage her plan by announcing it too early. But S.S.O was not willing to wait till it goes wrong. The moment he signs the papers, Annika was going to lose any leverage she has with the general. This may mean, waiting a bit longer to get Shravaan out. But he would just have to hold on a bit more until he makes sure Annika was safe. He paced up and down, thinking if he made the right decision. He didn't want either of them to suffer at the end of it all. He recalled how Annika looked bolder, and stronger in her business woman avatar. She was stronger than he thought she was. She had proven to be a great partner in crime, a brave warrior princess! A smile dawned on his face, as he realised that he had finally accepted her as his better half. She was a friend, a companion, challenger, an equal partner. Shivaay Singh Oberoi was in safe hands with Annika and he can relax knowing that, finally.

The general was sitting in darkness, as Annika approached her with confidence. She placed the papers next to her indicating that her mission was unsuccessful. " So you still didn't manage to get him to sign the damn papers? What is this Annika? Time is running out! TICK TOCK!" The general tapped her long ruby red finger nails on the wooden table. "He wants proof! He wants to know that Shravaan is alive and well. He wants to see him for real!" Annika sighed. The general laughed eerily. By now Annika had gotten use to this. At first it was creepy, but now it was just outright irritating.

Annika sat across the table, and passed on her tablet to the general. "See...my plan is working..we just need to get him to sign the papers...so what's the harm in letting him meet Shravaan? Maybe you can even manipulate him to sign it...the way you made sure that I won't double cross you?" Annika reminded her.

"Huh...what guarantee do I have that you won't double cross me now? Together with your? Who is he by the way? What do I call him? Friend? Husband? Boyfriend?" Annika hated the tone of sarcasm in her voice. "Look! Whoever Shivaay is to me, is none of your business. I signed up for something, and I don't back off from it. Knowing Shivaay Singh Oberoi, he would never ever sign these, unless he has live proof! So I am telling you why don't we just exchange Shravaan for Blue corp and finish this off for once and for all?" Annika tried to convince the general.

" So you think, all this years, I raised that Oberoi, in my basement, to give him away just like that?" The general asked. No...Of course not! You used him well enough...I know you used him to kill my father...I know you tortured him day and night! Annika wished if she could say it out loud.  "I don't know...what else possibly could be more important to you than this?" She asked.  "Well you do have a point! I won't say No! All right! Arrange the meeting! I guess it would be fun to watch! Long lost brothers reuniting!" An irritating cackle of laughter went on air. "I'll make sure it is a night that he never forgets! Dress to kill tonight my child! Men always underestimate a pretty little thing sitting opposite them!"

Annika sent a text to S.S.O " The meeting is set for 8.00 P.M. I'll send you the location. Dress for dinner! P.S.: B.S.O.I.W.K.Y!"

Ping! S.S.O smiled as he read the message. "You want me to be safe or kill me? Make up your mind woman!" He  scrolled up his contacts and dialled a number.

"Hello...Bhavya..."
