Annika stood by the shrine stunned, holding the battered birth certificate in her hand. Does this mean Shivaay had a twin and he was taken away by the organisation on a vendetta against the Oberoi's? Daadi will know about this, perhaps she can help her to find out what really happened. Is Shravaan still alive? She dialled Daadi's number and disconnected the line instantly, remembering the warning imprinted in Shakti's letter. "We are even forbiddened to bring you up...Our family will have to pretend that you never existed!" This meant, the family will be in danger, if she shares this information with anyone. No, she would not dare to take a risk. Shivaay will never forgive her if OmRu was dragged in to this. There safety came first. Whoever had taken Shivaay's place, was it Shravaan? Did the organisation raise him to be one of them, so he can one day take over the Oberoi empire and hand everything to them on a silver platter instead of going against them? But then again, if this S.S.O was indeed Shravaan and was working for them, why did they need Tej, and Tia to be their puppets? It was all just too complicated. Annika felt as if she had opened the Pandora's box. The great apocalypse was soon to follow, she could sense that. If this S.S.O was Shravaan Singh Oberoi, he won't harm Shivaay? Would he? If he was his own blood would he dare to? One common thing about Oberoi's was that they always put the family first. Let it be Shivaay, OmRu, Shakti, or even Tej for that matter. The apple could not have fallen far from it's tree could it? But it certainly could be rotten by now.

She closed the secret mirror door behind her. She had been gone for too long, and she couldn't let anyone suspect where she was. Shakti's study, and now his secret shrine for Shravaan, has lead her to many secrets within the Oberois. It was important she found Shivaay, and shared all of this with him. After all they were in this together now. But how? How was she going to find out about Shivaay? "Yes...Yes Mishra...I'll be there! Get me the files I asked for...and call the lawyer" She noticed S.S.O hurrying off. What was he up to? Annika decided to follow him. Yet the consequences of this decision could harm the entire operation. She had to disguise herself. She searched for something else to change into in Shivaay's wardrobe. Seriously did this man only wore suites? There was nothing in the wardrobe she could get into without being noticed. She finally found a white shirt that she liked, and put it on with her  own pair of baggy ripped denim jeans. The shirt smelt like Shivaay, and she could feel a tear forming in her eyes. For what's it's worth she missed the blue eyed monster. She really did. She also snatched a pair of black aviators from Shivaay's array of sunglasses on display to wear. She ran out to find her red scooter, but realised, that it would be too obvious. She went in to the Oberoi Garage, and amongst the many vehicles parked in there she spot a  dusty 2009 V-star 250 motorcycle in a corner.

"This would do!"  She got on when Khanna the head of security came running towards her, "Annika Mam...Annika Mam No...what are you doing? If Shivaay Sir get's to know, I'll be in so much trouble!"

"And Why is that now? Khanna ji can you do me a favour and keep this to yourself please?" she made a puppy dog face, that Khanna couldn't say no to. After all she was his boss's wife now. " Err..I guess..." He agreed.

"Okay great! I promise you you won't get into any trouble!" Annika reassured.  She quickly tied her long locks in a bun, and put on the helmet covering her whole face.

"But...But Annika mam...I haven't checked this bike for safety...It's been ages since anyone took it out!" Before she could hear his warnings Annika had vroomed off.

She had to catch up with S.S.O. Last time, when she got her hands on his phone, she had enabled the find my phone feature. She could track where he was easily on her phone now, unless he would smash it on some wall one of these days. Which reminded her of Shivaay. It was an irritating habit, but she had started to miss even the most annoying things of him lately.  He'd been gone for far too long. Maybe following S.S.O will lead her onto some clue. Once she finds out that he is safe, then she will confront S.S.O. "Where is he going? He was talking to Mishra and asked for a lawyer...what is he up to?"  She kept a safe distance, as finally S.S.O got off the car and went inside an office building. She parked the bike further away, and walked in still wearing the helmet that covered half of her face.  She ran in as the lift doors were about to close, and got in to the same lift as S.S.O. He was playing with his phone, and didn't pay any attention to her thankfully. She hid behind a tall, large, bold gentleman who was clutching on to a stack of files.  S.S.O looked back, with suspicion written all over his face. She crouched herself behind the gentleman hoping she is invincible. He wouldn't be able to recognise her anyway with the helmet on. She was worrying for nothing. Suddenly S.S.O looked uneasy, and placed a call out loud, "Mishra...Why does this damn elevator smell like roses! Change the bloody air freshener! NOW!" .
