In the house Lola, Michael and Polly were sitting around the table, "How was it?"
"I was starving, so I would have eaten anything. But it was super." Michael said
Polly chuckled, "Super."
"So, are you a cook?" Michael asked
Polly looked at Lola as she almost choked on her tea, Lola coughed as she put the cup down, "Sorry. Sorry. Just...yeah carry on."
Polly shook her head, "Not a cook. No."
"The man who came to the house was driving a posh car. He looks rich. What does he do? Lola said he has a business." Michael said
Polly poured some more tea as she said, "He works with horses."
"Really? I love horses. I've got a bay mare." Michael said
Polly smiled, "No!"
Michael nodded, "I ride it all the time."
"Then it's in the blood. Lola loves horses too don't you love?" Polly asked
Lola nodded, "I do. I'm thinking of getting one for the stables at the house."
"I've got about a million questions," Michael said
"So do I," Polly said
Michael looked in between Lola and Polly saying, "I've had different pictures in my head."
"Well, here I am. It's all right that it's me, isn't it?" Polly asked
"I don't have any choice. I mean, you are who you are, aren't you? We don't choose. And that's it." Michael said
Polly nodded, " Yeah, that's right. God gave you to me. People took you away." Lola smiled as Polly took Michael's hand, "And it is all right that it's me, isn't it? In a place like this."
"I thought it would be worse," Michael said and Lola laughed
Just then they heard shouting, "Run for the hills!"
Lola sighed, "Oh here we go."
"It's the Digbeth Kid! Get out of town, kid, or I will shoot your fucking head off!" Arthur shouted as he and John ran into the house, "Time's up!" John stopped when he saw Polly, Lola and Michael, "You're dead, go down. John!"
