Katou Marika is just your ordinary regular high-school girl who dedicates her time to her club called the space yacht club and her part-time job. One day at her job, two suspicious strangers ask her to be the captain of something called the Bentenmaru. Apparently, Bentenmaru is a very famous space pirate ship. So basically, these people are asking her to become a space pirate. One problem is that people think that space pirate are extinct. After some persuasion, Marika agrees to become the captain of the space pirate ship, Bentenmaru. Marika finds herself facing many challenges in her journey.
