After Andy and i finished our drinks we drove to my apartment (Andy drove of course) we were laughing and singing as we did before. It was like we were never apart.

Andy looked around curiously as i unlocked the door, it wasn't the nicest place to live but it wasn't the worst i guess.

All my band mates live in the same building on the same corridor, its easier for band practice.

"Sorry about the mess"

I laughed nervously as i pushed open the door and led him inside.

"Ricky likes to live the stereotypical rock star lifestyle."

"Haha i like it, it's great inspiration."

He joked. I just had to smile, seeing him reminded me of the the sweet, beautiful boy i fell in love with.

"So have you got anywhere in the music business yet?"

I called over to him from the kitchen when i went to put my song book on the counter.

"Not yet, i have no idea where to start. You got tips?"

"I just went on what your dad told me on the day we met 'never give in, never back down, It doesn't matter how many no's you get, all it takes is a single yes'."

I quoted, those were Chris's exact words to me and i never once forgot them, Iv'e been kept going by those words and they've never once failed me.

"Well i do know one guy who directs music videos...."

Andy's eyes widened i could just see the hope in his eyes.

"His name is Patrick Fogarty, he's always up for helping new bands kick start their career i'm sure he'll be happy to help, but first you'll need to gather up a band, write a song then i can get you into the recording studio where my band is currently recording."

Andy was speechless, i could see his lips moving as if he was trying to say something but couldn't quite get the words out. So lifted me up into the air, spinning me around shouting 'i love you' over and over again.

I could barely breath, i was laughing so much i'd missed him so much and seeing him made me forget all about by my stupid ass ex Danny who brought back memories from my past, reasons for me leaving Ohio...

Just then Ricky walked in through the door.

"Ahem!"

He cleared his throat loudly, startling us. We looked his way and Andy slowly put me on the ground, we both felt a little dizzy from all the spinning and fell to the floor side by side, which made us both burst out laughing.

"Who the hell is that?!"

He sounded a little aggravated, he must have had another fight with his girlfriend. He always got aggravated after fights, which seemed to come up at least 3 times a week.

"Ricky, this is Andy, a very close friend from Ohio."

I jumped up and smoothing down my hair and clothes.

"Oh yeah, the one that is apparently moving in?"

Ricky replied ignorantly, i talked about Andy a lot, i think it made him a little jealous, he liked being the only guy that i could confine in, because while me and Andy were apart he really was the only guy i could confine in, and the only other person was my good friend Juliet Simms, who i met last year when her band 'Automatic Loveletter' played along side my band 'Unbroken Hearts' at a music festival.

"That's right"

I suddenly felt a little nervous, this wasn't the best way to start a new friendship.

"It's nice to meet you, Jade has told me a lot about you."

Andy reached out his hand, Ricky speant a moment looking at Andy's outstretched arm and finally shook it, he had no choice but to be civl, seems as he'd have to live with him.

"He'll have to share your room, it's the only room which has a sofa-bed in it."

Ricky pointed out, his gaze never once leaving Andy's.

"I'm cool with it if he is"

I shrugged turning to Andy.

"Sure it'll be like old times"

He laughed and looked over to the corner.

"Hey is that a real Les Paul?"

He pointed towards Ricky's guitar leaned against wall.

"Yeah i won it in a competition two weeks ago, thank the lord for blessing me with these lightning fingers!"

Ricky bragged, he loved his guitars more than he loved himself, which was pretty rare.

As the boys did their guitar talk i walked into my bedroom to make up Andy's bed and started unpacking his suitcase for him.

When i unzipped it i noticed something wrapped up neatly in a piece of cloth. When i unwrapped it i saw that it was a picture. A picture of me and Andy on my 10th birthday, the day i finally hit double digits. That was a fun day.

My eyes filled up with tears as i remembered how close we were, then smiled at the fact that he had kept this photo all this time.

I was touched, i never realised how much he treasured our friendship. I loved him so much...
