The bus finally stopped and we were free to wonder around the town for a couple of hours.

I jumped down from my bunk and turned to Jade, who was still sleeping.

I wondered whether I should wake her or not, she hadn't been sleeping for very long but I know she always likes to look around the place...

I decided to wake her to ask her so she won't have completely woken up then if she chooses to can easily go back to sleep.

"Jade"

I whispered, lightly stroking her hair.

"Ugh..just give me 10 more years."

"We're going to look around the town, are you coming with us or do you want a couple more hours sleep?"

She lifted her head from the pillow and looked at me with her eyes half shut.

"What time is it?"

I checked my watch.

"12:30"

"Ugh!"

She groaned and face planted her pillow before finally sitting up.

"I'd better come out, I want to properly wake up before sound check."

"Well c'mon then."

"Ok....wait! Shit!"

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot to put my makeup on this morning!"

I hadn't even noticed that she wasn't wearing makeup appart from the black eyes. Her skin was flawless and blemish free, she didn't need foundation, her eyes stood out on their own so there is no need for eye makeup and her lips were naturally a nice shade of pink/red so there was no need for lip gloss.

"I hadn't noticed. You don't need it, you're pretty enough as it is."

"You don't need to spare my feelings, I know, I'm hideous."

"Jade, you know I'd agree with you if I meant it or just joking about it, but I can honestly say, you are not hideous."

That was the hardest thing I ever had to say, I never admitted things like that, especially not to her.

She sighed and looked at me.

"I guess I could just let my hair fall naturally in front of my face to cover it up...ok lets go."

I rolled my eyes at her and helped her out of bed, ensuring that she didn't hit her head, assuming that it was still sore after her stitches.

We left the tour bus and set foot on the solid ground. It was nice to stand on ground that isn't moving, even if I was asleep for most of the journey.

When we were walking through the small town Alex, Tom and James spotted a skate park and darted towards it, leaving me and Ricky behind.

"You can join them if you want."

I could tell he wanted to by the way he looked at it.

"I'd rather not. It's tempting but I don't want to be around Alex and I don't want you walking around on your own. Not after last time..."

I scowled at him.

"I'd like to point out that I got out of there on my own."

"By burning down your exes apartment door."

"Look, the point is I got out. I'm tougher than I look."

"I know, it takes a lot of force to be able to put me in hospital after a punch to the face."

I smirked, it taught him not to touch my book...well unless Andy is behind him."

"You shouldn't have touched my book."

"I know, I know. I'm sorry."

"I could tell you were when you cried like a baby."

"I did not! I cried like a man..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah"

I rolled my eyes at him, satisfied with myself.

"So what you wanna do?"

"What is there to do?"

"You tell me, you're the one who researched activities here."

"Well...I did sign up for horse riding tomorrow, we could check the place out and meet the riders."

"Sounds cool lets go, if it looks good I might sign up myself."

He grinned at me, was he serious?

The ranch wasn't too far from the bus which made it easier to find. Not that it didn't stand out anyway.

it was beautifully set up with perfect green grass, the perfect lengh; white painted gates and fresh straw in every stable. This place was clearly cared about,  the sun even seemed brighter over here.

"Hi, can I help you?"

A cheerful voice came up behind us.

"Hi, I have a session booked for tomorrow and thought I'd check the place out first."

"Awesome! Would you like to meet the horse you chose?"

"I'd love to!"

I may have seemed a little overexcited to meet Dream.

"Who did you choose?"

"Dream"

"Great choice!  She's a sweetheart,  she's in that last stable over there being groomed by her trainer, I'll leave you to go say hello."

"Well...she's very...cheerful..."

Ricky whispered to me as the woman walked away.

"Yeah...she's creepy...lets go meet the trainer."

As we approached the stable we heard someone singing quietly and saw a girl with brown and blond hair grooming the horse.

"You're an awesome singer."

I must have startled her because she dropped her brush and the blood rushed to her cheeks.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up like that. I'm Jade and this is Ricky. I have a session booked with Dream tomorrow and was brought here to meet you and Dream."

"Yeah, sorry I'm embarrassed to sing in front of people...I'm Libby."

"Nice to meet you, I'm told that Dream is a real sweetheart."

"She is, she's so perfect. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her."

"I'm not surprised, she's beautiful."

"Hey you should start a band or something."

Ricky chipped in.

"I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"I get stage fright. I just freeze up."

"Sounds like Jade."

"Shut up Ricky...maybe we could help with that. I was looking up some activities to do and on our next free day we are in Manchester where there is a talent show taking place. You could meet us there and take part."

"I don't know..."

"Well how about you think about it and we can talk it through tomorrow."

"O-ok...sure..I'll see you tomorrow then..."

She smiled sheepishly and went back to grooming Dream.

We said our goodbyes and left her to it.

"Jade, wait a sec."

"What's up?"

"I'm gonna book a session."

"You? Why?"

"This place seems cool and it's not often we do things together apart from perform...and I can get away from Alex..."

I smiled at him, he really was a great guy when he wanted to be...
