Shoto sat by the window, listening to the sound of the wind lightly swooshing, carrying leaves with it.
Cool air hit his face through the open window. He sighed with contentment. The feeling of the cool breeze relaxed him. The events from earlier in the day had mentally drained Shoto, so it was nice to be able to sit by the window and just think. Shoto looked up at the moon and the stars around it. He tried not to think about the head he had seen a few hours earlier. Tried to believe he was just seeing things.
He tried not to think about how his father thought he was useless, now that his quirk had weakened.
He tried not to think about his sister telling him he had had a non-epileptic seizure.
He tried not to think about the questions his classmates would ask when he went back to school.
Okay he was definitely wrong. Being along with his thoughts was definitely a bad idea.
Shoto hated the number of times he had cried this week. He was never much of a crier, at least not in front of people. He hated that Fuyumi had to see him cry, father had always told him he was an ugly crier. Shoto was surprised Fuyumi was able to eat her ice cream, after seeing him cry.
Shoto wondered what he would do when he went back to school. What if he had a seizure at school? What if he had a panic attack at school? What if his friends saw his new bruises? So many things could go wrong. He hoped they didn't have any type of quirk training, if they did he was screwed for sure.
Eventually Shoto got tired and went to bed, feeling anxiety build in his chest as he drifted off.

The next morning, Shoto woke up to the light poking on his shoulders. He cracked his left eye open slightly. He ignored the blinding light of the sun that filtered through his open window.
I must have forgotten to close the window and blinds.
" Good morning Sho, did you sleep well?" Fuyumi said, seeing that Shoto was awake now.
" Morning sis," Shoto yawned, " I slept well, thank you. And you?"
Fuyumi's smile brightened. " I slept really well, thanks!"
Shoto nodded, sitting up sleepily in his futon. Suddenly a pleasant aroma filled his nose.
Shoto breathed deeply.
Apparently Fuyumi noticed, " I made pancakes, and I put strawberry syrup on them, since I know it's your favorite." Fuyumi beamed, seemingly proud of herself that she knew what her little brother liked. " Thanks." Shoto said simply, feeling too tired to express his gratitude with more words. " I know yesterday was... tiring so I totally understand if you want to go back to sleep, I could just put your pancakes in the microwave."
Shoto shook his head dragging himself out of bed, the thought of food and making his sister happy motivating him to do so. " I'm not tired." Shoto lied. He was very tired. But he didn't want to make his sister sad so he would push through it.
Shoto and Fuyumi made their way down the stairs to the dining area. Shoto brightened upon seeing the food. Fuyumi really was a great chef.
They both sat down digging into the food.
" This is really good, Fuyumi." Shoto said, after swallowing a bite of pancake.
Fuyumi blushed at the praise, " Thanks Shoto, I'm glad you like it."
Shoto hummed, too engrossed in his meal to give a proper response.
After breakfast, Shoto helped Fuyumi clean up the kitchen, bonding as they did.
Even though they were talking, Fuyumi could tell Shoto's mind was elsewhere. So she decided to ask about it. " Whatcha thinkin about Sho?" Fuyumi asked softly. Shoto looked up from the dish he had been washing. " I saw somebody looking at me yesterday through my window."
Fuyumi gaped, " Do you know who it was?"
Shoto shook his head. " As soon as I tried to look at them they ran away."
" Are you sure that's actually what you saw?"
Shoto nodded, going back to washing his dish. " I'll keep an eye out then." Fuyumi reassured.
Shoto nodded, his way of saying thanks.

Shoto sat in the living room reading a book, well it was actually a manga. Sero had suggested it to him. It was called Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, so far he liked it. There were parts that were a little inappropriate, but other then that, he really liked it.
" What are you reading?" Fuyumi asked, coming into the room and sitting beside him on the couch. Shoto showed her the cover, instead of verbally answering.
Fuyumi read it aloud, " Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun." She said, eyebrows raised at the odd name. " What's that about?"
Shoto turned the book around and read the summary.
" Nene Yashiro, a first-year high-school student who loves the occult and wishes for a boyfriend, summons the Seventh and most famous Wonder, "Hanako-san of the Toilet", a girl who allegedly haunts the bathroom and can grant wishes for the right price."
" Hanako is not actually a girl though." Shoto added, he turned the book over again and pointed at Hanako, who was sticking his tongue out. " That's Hanako."
Fuyumi hummed, seemingly no longer interested in the manga, and turned on the TV. Shoto didn't mind, at least he got to go back to reading.
Shoto was reading the part where they're looking for Nene's friend Aoi, when Fuyumi taps his shoulder, trying to get his attention. Shoto looked up from his manga, eyebrows raised at Fuyumi. " Look at this Sho!"
On the screen was the hero Shoto recognized as the pro Copy-cat. He wasn't a very popular pro, but he was good nonetheless.
" - so my dream is to become the number one hero!" Copy-cat was saying, face full of determination. " And I will stop at nothing to achieve my dream!"
The interviewer smiled and nodded, " But you do realize you'd have to surpass Endeavor right? Are you sure you're up to that?"
" I told you: I'll stop at nothing. Not even Endeavor will stop me."
" Whoa!" The interviewer said, putting a hand on her chest. " Well, good luck with your dream, I'm sure you'll get there soon!"
" You bet I will!" Copy-cat said, giving a thumbs up to the camera. Shoto went back to reading his manga when an ad turned on, humming to Fuyumi to let her know he had looked.
" Copy-cat is my favorite hero, next to hawks." Fuyumi said smiling brightly. Shoto hummed, " Yeah he's pretty cool."
Shoto sighed relaxing on the sofa cushion.
Maybe today will be a good day.
