Everything was perfect (Until it wasn't)

Waking up in a new wold

Thank you for waiting for me to update! Here is the chapter

The next morning Todoroki woke up with a horrible headache. He wished he could get out of bed. But since he was currently paralized, he would have to wait until Aizawa helped him to the living room, no matter how embarrassing it would be. Suddenly there was pressure on his stomach, a soft fluffy ball was curled on his stomach. Yuko. That was Aizawa's cat. She was very cute and seemed to take a liking to Todoroki. She mewed, licking todoroki's cheeks.

"Ew," Todoroki thought, but he smiled anyway. 

Todoroki craned his neck to look at the clock on the nightstand.

8: 24

Todoroki laid his head back down, sighing. He wondered when Aizawa-sensei would wake up. Todoroki was tired of just laying in bed.

Todoroki's stomach growled. Oh, now he was hungry. He wondered if Aizawa-sensei would let him eat. Probably not. Father fed him every other day, in fear of Todoroki getting any more fat than he already was.

Suddenly there was a knock on his door, then it opened slightly, Aizawa's head poking through the crack.

" Oh, you're awake." Aizawa-sensei strolled in the room with his wheelchair. Todoroki almost glared at.

" Do you feel like getting up?"

Todoroki nodded and Aizawa lifted him up out of bed, earning an angry hiss from Yuko as she quickly jumped off of Todoroki's chest. Aizawa paid her no mind as he placed Todoroki in his wheelchair. Todoroki felt stiff as he sat down. Oh, he was still in his uniform. Aizawa wheeled him out of the guest room and into the living room where he sat him down on the couch.

" You can watch TV while I make you some food. You okay with that?"

Todoroki nodded, there wasn't really much else to do. Aizawa grabbed the remote. "What do you feel like watching kid?"

Todoroki wasn't really sure how to answer that. He had never watched TV at home or at the dorms. He wasn't sure what shows there were to watch. Though once he had heard Uraraka talking about a show called Spy x Family. She said it was really good, and suggested he watch it. He hoped it was actually good, otherwise Aizawa might judge him if it was embarrassingly bad.  "Umm, maybe, Spy x Family."

Aizawa nodded, and typed it in on hulu. " What episode?"

" Episode one please." Todoroki felt uncomfortable asking for so much from his teacher. He wished he could disappear.

Aizawa played episode one, and went into the kitchen to make breakfast.

Todoroki wasn't really paying attention to the show, instead he tried to remember what happened before he went to aizawa-sensei's house. He remembered panicking in recovery girl's office and then being put in the wheelchair and then arriving at Aizawa-sensei's house. But it seemed like something else happened, something important. Like he did something he shouldn't have. But he did that all the time, he wasn't supposed to have a seizure yet he did anyway. But it felt like it was else something worse. Todoroki glanced up when he heard the voice of a little girl. He looked around but didn't see anyone. Then he realized it was coming from the TV. A little girl with pink hair was grabbing onto a leg, while the person tried to kick her off. Todoroki was immediately interested, and forgot about his previews thoughts. He watched, entranced by the show. It was so wholesome and cute. by the time episode two rolled around  Todoroki was starting to really like anya. She was funny. Sho almost made him smile.

Before Todoroki knew it, Aizawa came out of the kitchen with Tamago gohan. It looked really good. Todoroki's stomach growled quietly. Wow. Todoroki didn't realize how hungry he was until he laid eyes on that food.

" You look hungry." Aizawa observed. Todoroki mulled his comment over in his head. Was it wrong? For him to be hungry? Was it a sign that he should refuse the food and chose to train instead? Or should he go into the basement? Does Aizawa even have that? Oh god did he have to go in the cupboard? He didn't want to go there, anywhere but there-

" I know this is embarrassing, kid but, I'm gonna have to feed you."

Todoroki nearly threw up.

If he wasn't so hungry he would refuse the food all together.

But his stomach was growling a lot now. And he could feel it start to cramp so...

He felt as though he really had no choice.

Beside his dignity already left him after he had a fucking seizure in front of the whole intire class.

" Um, alright."

Without another word, Aizawa stabbed the chopsticks into the rice, and brought it up to Todoroks mouth.

Todoroki opened his mouth, cringing slightly. Todoroki chewed, eating it quickly so he could have another bite. Aizawa brought the food up to his mouth and Todoroki opened his mouth. This went on until the bowl was completely empty.

" Was that enough food Todoroki?" Aizawa asked. Todoroki wondered if he meant that in a mean way. Like todoroki had eaten too much. He was about to apologize when Aizawa said, " I can hear you overthinking Todoroki."

" Sorry." Todoroki said. Aizawa smiled, but it was a sad one.

" Do you need anything Todoroki?" Aizawa asked, ignoring Todoroki's apology.

" No, I don't think so sensei." Todoroki said politely, then added, " Thank you."

" Alright, I'll be in my room doing work. I'll be back to check on you in fifteen minutes. If you need me before then, just call me."

Todoroki nodded and Aizawa left to go to his room. Todoroki sat there watching TV. It was weird not having to train or not being yelled at, or not being locked in the basement or the cupboard. It was... nice. Yes that was word, nice. Nice was the warm feeling that spread through his body when he was squished between Sero and Mina on movie night, or when he was hanging out with the dekusquad. Todoroki wasn't too familiar with the feeling but he liked it and hoped to experience it more often.

He had a feeling he would.
