Todoroki opened his eyes, feeling warm and cozy.

At first he was confused, he was laying on the sofa instead of his bed. What had happened?

Then he remembered. Oh, his siblings had come over, and he fell asleep before they left.

Todoroki felt a bit sad that he didn't get to say goodbye.

Todoroki craned his neck to peer around the living room. He was currently laying down which made it hard to look around.

Todoroki hated being paralyzed.

It was such an inconvenience. Todoroki hated not being able to do things for himself. It was embarrassing having to ask Aizawa to take him to the bathroom, it was embarrassing to have to be washed by Aizawa and embarrassing to have to be fed by Aizawa.

Aizawa hasn't been able to go to work because of Todoroki. Todoroki felt guilty. So, so guilty.

Todoroki wished there was a way to make it up to him.

" Oh, you're awake." Aizawa said, rounding the corner from the kitchen.

Todoroki nodded.

" I was thinking maybe we can watch a movie and play some games. We haven't really been doing anything lately so I thought we could today." Aizawa said, sitting Todoroki upright on the sofa, wrapping the blanket around his shoulders firmly.

" Sounds good to me. What games can we play?"

Aizawa shrugged, " Uno maybe, I'll help you make your moves."

" What's Uno?"

" It's a card game, I'll explain it later. For now it's time for lunch."

" What's for lunch, Aizawa?"

" I made us bento boxes, I hope you like them." Aizawa went off to the kitchen to get the food.

He came back with two bento Boxes.

" What do you think?" Aizawa asked, showing him the inside of the bento box, " This is the second time I've made a bento so don't judge it too hard."

Todoroki peered inside and was surprised by the quality. Inside was rice shaped as a bunny looking thing, he wasn't really sure what it was but it looked cute, around it were lots of vegetables and smiley faces.

It was cute. It looked like a professional made it.

" Your silence is making me nervous, kid." Aizawa said nervously.

" It looks very cute sensei. Are you sure this is only your second time?"

Aizawa smiled, " Don't flatter me, kid." Aizawa said, even though he was clearly enjoying it.

Todoroki smiled. Aizawa could be silly sometimes.

" Anywho, I hope you enjoy it."

" Is that a character, sens-Aizawa?" Todoroki fumbled.

Aizawa peered inside, as if he forgot what the bento looked like.

" Oh, Kuromi? Yeah, she's from this show I used to watch."

" Can we watch it today, please?"

" Uhh, sure. I'm not sure if you'll like it, it's a bit girly."

Todoroki didn't care, he liked cute things.

Aizawa fed Todoroki the bento box talking to him as he did, telling him stories from work.

Todoroki hummed every now and then and commenting too.

The bento was delicious and well seasoned.

After Todoroki was done eating, Aizawa ate his bento, still talking to Todoroki between bites.

Todoroki wished he could move to lean on Aizawa, even though Todoroki didn't like touch very much, he liked it when he and Aizawa touched (not in the weird way get your mind out the gutter). Aizawa was always so nice to him. He always helped Todoroki do things he couldn't do and never complained about it.

Subtly Todoroki jerked his head to the side so he would lean a little on Aizawa.

Well, it was supposed to be a little. He ended up crashing into Aizawa, almost knocking him over.

Luckily Aizawa had long since finished eating and had set his bento box down, but he was still surprised when Todoroki crashed into him.

" Todoroki! You okay kid?"

Todoroki nodded rapidly, feeling slightly embarrassed. " Sorry Aizawa, I just- I wanted to- Sorry I just-"

Aizawa was probably so angry.

But he wouldn't punish Todoroki would he.

Aizawa wouldn't do that. He wasn't like Endeavor.

But maybe he would. Maybe he was not finally fed up with Todoroki. It would make sense, He had to do so much for Todoroki. He was probably exhausted.

Todoroki had made him exhausted.

It was all his fault.

" Hey, Todoroki, I need you to breathe with me, okay? I'm not angry, I'm not angry."

Aizawa comforted, stroking Todoroki's hair. Todoroki leaned into the touch, sucking up as much comfort as he could.

" That's it, kid, good job. In and out. In and out." Aizawa made a show of taking a deep breath in and another out. Todoroki followed along, feeling calmer.

Aizawa always helped him.

" Sorry, I didn't mean to." Todoroki said, still leaning into Aizawa's hand. Aizawa didn't push him off, instead just continuing to stroke his hair.

" It's okay, you didn't hurt me. It's okay." Aizawa said softly.

And then hesitantly, so, so hesitantly, Aizawa gently placed a kiss on Todoroki's forehead.

Todoroki was surprised, so surprised that he completely froze.

Aizawa paused his stroking, seemingly panicking.

" Sorry, kid, I didn't- Sorry."

Aizawa brought his figures up to Todoroki's cheeks, wiping away tears.

Oh, he was crying.

" I'm sorry, Todoroki. Did I make you uncomfortable? I didn't mean to."

Todoroki shook his head.

" Can you- can you please do that again?"

Aizawa hands stilled in Todoroki's hair.

" Please I just- my mom, she used to do that. I miss it."

Aizawa was silent for a moment, his hand unmoving.

Then he brought his lips to Todoroki's forehead again and left a tiny kiss.

Todoroki smiled, as fresh tears fell down his cheek.

He leaned his head into Aizawa's hand, as Aizawa went back to stroking his hair.

" Thank you, Aizawa." Todoroki whispered, his chest and head feeling lighter than it had before.

Aizawa let out a long breath, pulling Todoroki into a hug. Todoroki sniffed, the sound muffled but Aizawa sweatshirt.

" You're a sweet kid." Aizawa told him. " I love you, so much Todoroki."

Todoroki sniffed again, his smile watery. " Please, call me Shouto."
