Chapter nineteen

So-hyun has been emitted from the hospital so she is now sat in her house, the kim household was quite...no shouting,no screaming,no crying,no hitting...no mother or father.

She felt different feelings towards both of her parents absences. For her mother she felt her heart sting and hurt that she had to leave earth knowing her husband was the one who killed her...and her own children hated her.

The truth is so-hyun regrets not trying to understand her mother but nothing could bring her back from the dark abyss,

So-hyun didn't mind much that her father was going to be trialled in court the day after her mother's funeral she felt happy he was finally getting what he deserved after everything he's done justice is being given to the kim's.

Lei straightened his black suit out neatly he walked into the living room to see his sister staring blankly at nothing but a small smiling photo of their mum when she was happy.

He sighed sadly before walking to her and bringing the teary eyed girl into his arms
"she's resting now" he whispered softly.

So-hyun gave him no reply in response because she new that their mum would not rest until that man was imprisoned for his brutal crimes.

Do-hwan held his girlfriends hand gently caressing the back of her hand soothingly,
so-hyun didn't speak once in the funeral she just sat and watched very few people pay their respects since the kim's weren't a well known family.

He wiped a lone tear from her cheek before giving her a small peck on the exact same cheek. He knew she needed to be alone and have some quiet time so getting up from his seat on the floor next to her he kissed the back of her hand before leaving the church but made sure to stand just outside the door.

Her heart wrenching cries for mother were soon heard from the now empty church he had to fight everything in him not to go over and comfort her but she needs to get this off her chest because when grieving for someone it's best to not bottle it up because one day they'll explode just like
do-hwan...

Do-hwan was a lone child most of his childhood because of the terrible loss that changed his view on the world and himself, his parents were took away from him at such an early age it left a gaping hole in his heart that he didn't know could be fixed until he met so-hyun...

So-hyun is his light when it gets dark the plaster that covered his aching heart and assembled all the stray pieces back together to make one, now it seems his heart only beats for her.

Do-hwan slid down the wall slowly landing on the floor, he placed his head in his hands while a few tears left his eyes ever so slowly dripping down his cheeks hitting the cold floor. He'd wait for so-hyun to get back to her normal self but he knew after loosing someone a part of you goes with them. He may never get his bubbly so-hyun back but he'd love and be with her regardless...

So-hyun was a girl with many different liking's, she liked the way the rain sounded when hitting her window she always liked to watch the rain slowly drip and drip down to the floor making a puddle form...

She also liked the way her mother's hot chocolates warmed her body up from the cold weather, she liked when her mother would scold her for being out in the rain and ruining yet anther dress but she mainly liked the part where her mother would hold her tightly in her arms singing a soft lullaby to sleep...the constant patting of the rain making it hard for her to keep her doe eyes open.

She liked when her mother showed her the motherly love she so dearly misses with all her heart, she misses all the things she liked about her mum...

"So-hyun" a man in a smart black suit bowed to the gloomy girl who only looked at the man with her red eyes from all the crying, the man bowed to her then to the mother's picture that hung above a table filled with flowers and candles.

He smiled at the girl who had yet to recognise him, "so-hyun don't you remember me?" He asked while bending down to the sitting girl who shook her head.

He sighed with a nod "mm that's understandable it's been a long time since then...I'm you're father's brother, Kim hanjun"

When he brought up the mention of her dad she mentally cringed at it, she bit her lip harshly to prevent herself from snapping at the man for even being here after what his brother did to her mother.

She looked up at him and nodded before standing up weakly holding onto the wall for support, she eyed the man up and down to see he wore very expensive clothing which indicated he was a lot more wealthy then her dad.

"Right...the food hall is over there if you want to go eat now" so-hyun said in weak horse voice because of her constant crying for her mother.

The man nodded before hesitantly walking up to the mothers picture once again before placing a red rose on the table with the other flowers,
so-hyun gasped at the sight of the red rose that now laid on her mother table.

She quickly walked over and picked the flower up and glared at the man "did he put you up to this!? Tell me you jerk! Did he tell you to do this!!?" So-hyun shouted angrily while throwing the flower to the floor.

Hanjun gulped before answering "I don't know what you're talking about so-hyun." He said straightening out his expensive suit calmly,
so-hyun's chest heaved with anger she was like a boiling pot of water that has now overflowed.

"Only he knows that my mother absolutely hates roses especially red ones! I know he got you to put this here to taunt us! That disgusting pig won't even leave her to rest even after killing her! M-my eomma is dead because of him!! Now get out and don't show you're face here again!"

So-hyun's eyes leaked with tears that streamed down her cheeks that were red with anger, she pointed to the exit which the man walked out of when he was out of sight she felt her body go weak as she was moments from hitting the floor an arm wrapped securely around her waist.

She looked into do-hwan's eyes that held concern for her she gave him a small smile that didn't reach her eyes nor did it light them up with happiness, but she tried for him.

"So-hyun! Are you okay?" Lei asked while sprinting into the room to see do-hwan holding a very weak looking so-hyun who didn't reply because like she's done many times since her mother's death she passed out in her boyfriends arms.
