The once happy summer turned into a cold dark winter that seemed to drag on for eternity but once the year changed from 2021 to 2025 only then did it click in the girls head that it's been 4 years since then...
"So-Hyun! Did you manage to get the file from k sports industries?" So-Hyun's co-worker asked while sitting on the edge of so-hyun's desk snapping herself from out of her thoughts she smiled generously up at her best friend "Yes, they said they would send it tomorrow since their company is quite busy today" the now short haired girl explained.
Her co-worker slash best friend nodded before smiling excitedly clapping her hands together gaining so-hyun's attention once again "It's the weekend tomorrow! Let's go out clubbing! How fun would that be hm!?" Minji asked excitedly.
So-Hyun rolled her eyes playfully at her best friends behaviour "Yes it would be fun if you want an agonising hangover the next morning" she replied sarcastically while typing away on the computer in front of her.
Minji rolled her eyes before slapping so-hyun's back making the girl yelp in pain, glaring at minji she raised her hand threateningly "Yah! Do you wanna die? What was that for- aish" so-hyun with an angry pout rubbing her sore shoulder.
Minji smiled innocently "Oops I thought their was a fly on your shoulder that's all" she giggled childly before hopping off her best friends desk "gotta go smoke a fag I'll see you at lunch hyunie! I love youuu" she sang the last part before kissing her best friends cheek skipping her way outside.
"Love you too Min Min!!" So-Hyun shouted back at the girl who she met when she was younger because of her brother's massive crush on the girl but he was to scared to tell her so he made her sister confess to the girl for him but Minji rejected her brother saying they were to young but when she was older he had to ask her again then she'd say yes. Fyi he still hasn't.
Sighing tiredly she leaned back into her chair that was until her secretary barged in through the doors breathing heavily her hair sitting up all over the place.
Standing up concerned for her secretary she eyed the woman "What's wrong?" So-hyun asked while walking to the distraught secretary, the woman bowed respectfully to her boss "M-miss Kim! You're father has been released from prison!"
So-hyun's eyes turned dark the calming doe brown turned almost black with anger, clenching her hands into fist she nodded trying everything to stay calm "Okay...get my car ready Rebecca" she instructed Rebecca nodded before frantically leaving her bosses office.
So-hyun walked over to her desk and collected all her things but the picture that was tucked away in her drawer she was frantically searching in for her keys stopped her movements, picking the picture up she gulped her emotions down.

Shaking her head she wiped away the tear that managed to push through her tough facade she put the picture back with shaky hands at the sweet memories of him entering her mind once more.
