♾Save me♾

Chapter twenty

"You really pass out a lot huh?" A voice echoed through so-hyun's ear's making her senses awaken, snapping her eyes open she looked up at the tall figure who stood beside her laying figure.

She blushed highly embarrassed at herself and her weak heart, she coughed awkwardly
"Y-yeah...I guess i do" She mumbled.

The guy laughed a little before placing himself next to the girl and held her hand in his while stroking soothing circles across the back of her hand "You feeling okay baby?"

So-hyun nodded before looking down at her attire to see she was out of her traditional (Korean) funeral dress but in some baggy sweatpants and a loose hoodie but the smell emitting from the clothes indicated it was her boyfriends.

Turning to face him she caressed the dark circles under his eyes that made him look like a Tim Burton character in real life, she felt guilty for putting those frowns and eye bags onto his face "I'm sorry" she whispered sadly.

Do-hwan blinked confused as to what she was talking about, he grabbed her hand that was on his cheek away from his face and intertwined them together "What are you apologising for hm?"

So-Hyun looked down at their intertwined hands with a sad smile gracing her chapped lips
"I make you unhappy now don't i?...all i see now when i look at you is constant concern for me and worry the smiles you send me are not ones of happiness and that's- that's all my fault." She admitted.

Do-hwan was shocked at her words he quickly held her face in his hands and shook his head in denial "No- no don't say that! You've made my life so much happier darling don't think any different"he reassured...but he didn't realise he was trying to reassure himself too..

So-Hyun took his hands away from her face letting a small tear slip down her pale cheek "Thank you do-hwan, you've made me happy too and I'm glad I've made you happy ...but I don't think i can keep up with that anymore" she let go of his hands, she looked up into his eyes that were watering with pain and sadness juts proving her point.

"d-don't so-hyun" he warned already knowing what she was about to do and he knew his heart couldn't take it or accept it...he needed so-hyun and if she was about to do what he think she was about to do he would break all over again

So-Hyun smiled brightly trying her best to seem happy but it took all her energy to make it look as realistic as she could, she smiled yet the tears that dripped from her eyes indicated something else.
"I'm sorry do-hwan but I think you've saved me enough times now"

Do-hwan shook his head frantically, holding her shoulders he looked into her eyes and shook her shoulders trying to shake sense into her
"No- so-hyun stop this nonsense!" He shouted while his eyes produced never ending tears.

"Please so-hyun...don't do this to me- to us!" He tried to convince her to change her mind but
so-hyun knew that they would be better off this way..she can't continue to continuously chip away tiny bits of his heart and turn a blind eye every singe time! She can't do that to him.

So-hyun held do-hwan's face in her hands making him melt into her touch wanting to stay in it forever, "Come to me when i call your name, come save me again do-hwan! I love you" she whispered out the last part so only it would bless his ears only.

Do-Hwan chocked on his sobs while he hesitantly nodded in understanding opening his teary eyes to look into hers he kissed her one last time passionately so-hyun didn't hesitate to kiss back because if this was really their last time she had to give him her everything one last time.

"I love you so-hyun"
