Chapter thirty three

"Miss Kim please give us a minute to interview you!"

"Miss Kim who was that man you were seen with!?"

"Is it true he's your bodyguard!?"

"Miss Kim!" "MISS KIM!!"

Shutting the doors shut to her company she slid down the wooden door her knees giving up beneath her. Panting heavily she covered her ears in desperation to block out the calls of the reporters who were frantically trying to get her to answer their questions that seemed never ending.

Her heart suddenly started picking up making her gasp for air her lungs felt like they were collapsing into her making this experience even more terrifying, grabbing her bag she pulled out her phone with shaky hands pressing the first contact she saw she managed to choke out between shallow breaths "H-help me!"

She didn't get a chance to hear what the other line was telling her because she was knocked out cold, her eyes rolled to the back of her head the expensive phone slipping from her grasp as her body hit the cold floor with a loud thud but not a noise escaping her mouth.

-different pov-

The line was silent after her painful plead for help scaring the man who clutched onto his phone tightly not lessening his tone "So-hyun! I'm on my way just talk to me baby- so-hyun!"

He ran out from the training room ignoring his
co-workers who watched him with worried eyes as he was storming out of the building.

An arm grabbing his wrist stopped his frantic movements to the exit. Snapping his head into the direction of the force that was stopping him from saving his girlfriend with a nasty glare
"Sir please let me skip training for today"
he gritted out anger floating off of him.

"Do-hwan you're the main bodyguard for a very important woman in the fashion industry if you think your part time karate teaching would outdo some of these crazy people who want to harm miss Kim then your wrong!" His captain of the bodyguard department said his hand tightening around do-hwan's wrist.

"You don't understand I really need to go!"
Do-hwan argued back to his captain who stubbornly stood his guard his interior showing he wouldn't give in so easily.

"No you're the one who doesn't seem to be understanding here , You need all the training you can get that may i add you're kindly being taught by me . Miss Kim is important in this company and if im being honest i have more professional students then you who would gladly take your place buddy it's just one phone call away" the captain threatened do-hwan who clenched his fist in anger.

He felt torn up about what to do, one he could punch his captain and run away but most likely get fired straight after or he could continue his 40 minutes of training left then leave but she sounded in so much pain he didn't think she'd last 40 minutes.

As he was about to reply one of the other guys who were in training with him ran over to the two tense men "Captain Miss Rebecca has asked for do-hwan assistance in the main building!" He said with a firm bow showing the higher up respect.

Sighing irritatedly he held a now smirking
do-hwan's collar "You're lucky boy real lucky" he spat out before letting the boy go with force turning away from do-hwan he glared at his men "what are you doing just standing there get back to work idiots!!" He seethed angrily before storming into his office.

-mini time skip-

"Mr woo! Miss Kim she-." Rebecca was cut off when do-hwan brushed past her and ran into the room not waiting for her to finish her sentence for he was too worried for his girlfriend.

Barging through the doors he took big steps towards his unconscious girlfriend who laid in a hospital gown in a bed with wires surrounding her body giving her the nutritions she needs to awake once again and in his arms.

Releasing a deep breath he sat next to her on the chair beside her bed it creaking in the process indicating the thing was getting old. Reaching to grab her cold hand he kissed it softly "Im sorry I'm late baby...I'm so sorry I wasn't able to- to........
Save you in time" he whispered his voice cracking with pain at the memories of there break up that left them with broken hearts but such strong and unforgettable memories.

His mind suddenly flashed like a broken video flashing before his eyes were the memories from that day-

-flashback-

"Please so-hyun...don't do this to me- to us!" He tried to convince her to change her mind but
so-hyun knew that they would be better off this way..she can't continue to continuously chip away tiny bits of his heart and turn a blind eye every singe time! She can't do that to him.

So-hyun held do-hwan's face in her hands making him melt into her touch wanting to stay in it forever, "Come to me when i call your name again, come save me again do-hwan! I love you" she whispered out the last part so only it would bless his ears only.

Do-Hwan chocked on his sobs while he hesitantly nodded in understanding opening his teary eyes to look into hers he kissed her one last time passionately so-hyun didn't hesitate to kiss back because if this was really their last time she had to give him her everything one last time.

"I love you so-hyun"

Hot tears welled up in his eyes as he unknowingly held onto the place above his heart that was suddenly tightening like someone just grabbed his heart from inside and started crushing it with their bare hands...the pain was something called lover's heartbreak something he has gone through way too many times now but would he go through all this pain to be with so-hyun?

Yes , yes he would he'd do it over and over again if it just meant he could have her. The woman who made his life completely and utterly lovely .

Kim so-hyun was his light in the darkness no matter how cringe that may sound she truly was and he'd be lost without that light so he'd go through all this pain just to see her glow in his presence forever and Always ♾
