Well hello there- I've had writers block for a long time but I am back now :D!

Since I haven't done a Sans x Reader yet, I'm making one now. Ketchup skele needs some love too.

Takes place after the events of a true pacifist run.

Another chilly cloudy day.
Monsters had been on the surface for around two months now, and your cafe started getting a few newcomers.
"The Rosebud Parlor" was what you had named your small business, a popular place townsgoers would hang out if they ever needed a cup of coffee and a pastry. However there was a hint of controversial gossip around town about how you were monster-friendly business, but you weren't discriminating.

A human child, whose name you learned to be Frisk, and a goatlike monster woman were two of your favorite regulars. You thought it was sweet how the child would always point out how nice you looked each time they visited.
Then there was a monster couple that would visit occasionally, a rowdy fish woman and a timid dinosaur. You thought their relationship was super cute.

You snapped out of your daze hearing the tiny bell on the door ring.
"-Hello! Welcome to The Rosebud Parlor, how can I help you today?" You absentmindedly greeted, however you saw a familiar face. It was Frisk, the child from before, but they weren't with the goat woman. Instead they were accompanied by a pair of skeleton monsters.

One of the monsters was short and round, looking somewhat slobbish and lazy, as if he didn't really care much about what others thought about their appearance. A cream colored sweater, blue coat with fluff trim, black basketball shorts and pink bunny slippers. You wished you had that amount of confidence-
The other monster was tall- taller than you by a foot or two. He sported some kind of cape, with an orangey sweater and black sweatpants, red snow boots and gloves.

Frisk, who was latched onto the taller monster by their cape, happily pointed at you, smiling widely, making you smile back a little. The taller monster noticed, and looked at the child.
"OH! ARE THEY YOUR FRIEND TOO HUMAN?" He asked Frisk, who had now climbed up onto their shoulder.

Frisk nodded and pointed at you proudly, telling the skeleton about how they spoke about you at home.

"ah. so you're the famous 'nice person' the kid tells us about." The smaller skeleton spoke, surprising you. You had completely forgotten he was there. You nervously laughed, trying to tear yourself from his gaze as you got Frisk's regular order, which was a donut with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles.

"Hahah.. yeah that's me. They seem to like me a lot." You mumbled, looking at Frisk and handing them the white paper bag with their treat inside.
"I've.. never seen you two around. Do you guys not live near town?"

"nah. my brother and i here live a bit farther out of town." The small skeleton answered, yawning lazily, to which you smiled.

"You two seem nice, what's your names?" You looked at the two of them, the taller one seeming to get excited.

"WELL HUMAN! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS!" He dramatically placed a hand on his chest, all heroic-like.

The shorter simply yawned, stuffing his hands in his coat pockets.
"sans. that's me. isn't my brother the coolest?" He grinned, tilting his head at you a bit, to which you laughed.

"Of course. Both of you are cool. I look forward to seeing you two back here soon." You smiled as Frisk began tugging the two out the door, begging to give to the nearby park.

Sans sent a lazy smile your way with a small nod as the child ushered him outside.
