In Which Sirius and Remus Survive and Blaise Has a Confession

A/N Four parts told from different perspectives. I have sort of adapted this from my story 'Moments' in terms of the established relationships, careers, and events. The key and significant difference is, here, Sirius and Remus have survived and Sirius, Remus, Harry, and Draco, plus Teddy, live together at 12, Gayauld Place I mean, 12 Grimmauld Place.

So, this story has come about for several reasons: first, @x_xdrarry_destielx_x requested this particular Blaise storyline and second, @Lottie_marauder_Xx wanted the return of Peanut. Third, I had an imagining of Sirius, grown up and carefree after the war and enjoying life of leisure (*a Wolfstar-life). In my mind, Tonks acted as surrogate for Remus and Sirius but didn't survive the war.

It doesn't matter if you haven't read 'Moments' but here is some key information:

Remus and Draco work at Hogwarts as the Defence against the Arts Professor and Potions Professor (both come home in the evenings and weekends). Harry and Peanut are Aurors in an Elite Ops Unit, Draco was an Auror. Blaise is a Healer. George and Pansy are in a relationship and run the WWW shop together. Ginny, Luna, and Rolf are in a polyamorous relationship.

After the war, a lot of Harry's friends ended up living at Grimmauld Place too, much to Sirius's joy (all have moved out now).

The reference to Montenegro refers to an event when Harry was kidnapped and nearly died while being held in a crypt under a church.

Harry and Draco are building a new house in the grounds of Malfoy Manor after the original building was razed to the ground by vigilantes after the war.

At the time frame of this story, Eddie Izzard (English Muggle Comedian) was identifying as 'he' but was gender fluid, hence me using 'they/them/their' pronouns rather than 'he/him/his'. I recognise that Eddie Izzard now identifies as 'she'.

'What the fuck are those?' exclaimed Harry, horrified, as he looked as Sirius's shoes.

He threw his black Elite Ops coat over the back of the sofa and flopped down next to Draco, exhausted.

'Good day at the office, dear?' Draco said sarcastically as he leant over and gave Harry a peck on the cheek. He went back to marking papers but there was a smirk on his face.

'Do you like them?' said Sirius, looking very pleased with himself. 'I've been outfit shopping for your wedding. They're Jimmy Choos,' he said, as if Harry was expected to know what the fuck he was talking about. 'They cost 750 Muggle pounds.'

To Harry, they simply looked like a very high pair of women's black patent shoes with impossibly high stiletto heels that looked designed to be used as a deadly weapon.

'That's a lot of money for not very much shoe.'

'It gives me much joy to spend all that Ministry compensation on something so frivolous and so far away from everything that Azkaban embodied,' Sirius said self-righteously.

'You've already spent that compensation five-times over, mostly on champagne and silk Kimono jackets,' said Remus.

'Then it gives me even greater joy to spend my family inheritance on something so beautiful and so Muggle and so far away from everything my mother embodied...' he said smugly.

'I can see your toes,' Harry said, wrinkling his nose.

'I have very nice feet, thank you very much. And Moony happens to particularly like my toes,' Sirius said with a flick of his long wavy hair.

'TMI,' muttered Harry.

Sirius proceeded to parade around the sitting room like he was on the catwalk. He walked with a hand on his hip, carefully placed over the pocket of a pair of leather trousers which he wore with one of his beautiful kimonos, this one was knee-length and translucent cream with long fringing and huge dragons embroidered sumptuously across the material. He wore it fastened loosely at his waist so that his chest tattoos showed. Harry had noticed that, of late, Sirius had taken to wearing nail polish on his blunt nails. Today they were blood red and matched the dragons.
