There's one little detail I forgot to mention.
Sola and I went to the same school all this time.
And I was able to meet her "old friends" a week ago.
Turns out, they're worse than I thought.
They constantly bother Sola and I, saying shit about how we both are crackheads, and how we should die.
Honestly, I didn't really care about what they say to me. I've been through worse shit in my life.
Their words literally don't mean shit to me.
It was Sola I was worried about.
Every time they say something to her, I see her becoming less and less happy.
And I wasn't having it.
Today at school, Sola and I were sitting in our English class.
We were talking about Baji. More like, I was telling her some stories I remember.
"Yeah, Baji wasn't the best at English. Matter of fact, he wasn't the best at school period. But it was funny sometimes when I had to help him with English. If he was alive right now, I already know I would still be his tutor for English." I laughed. Sola smiled.
"But he's dead now. So tough shit." Someone spoke up.
I rolled my eyes, immediately knowing who was talking.
It was one of Sola's ex friends, Yami Ushihama. Next to her was Anzu Ryoki, and Hatsu Hirogawa.
"Yami, go somewhere. Nobody was talking to you." I said, turning back to Sola.
"But I was talking to you." She snapped back.
I looked up at her, uninterested.
"Isn't your seat over there? Go." I said, pointing to the seat 2 seats away from me.
Eventually her and her stupid friends shut up and sat back down.
"So, how is everything with Takemichi and the others?" Sola asked, trying to change the topic.
"I think they're doing good. They've been letting me focus on school so they haven't updated me too much. I'll ask later maybe." I said, starting to write down a few notes.
"I can't believe that bitch use to be close with Toman when they were still a thing." I heard Anzu snicker.
Are you shitting me?
These girls have ZERO life.
"I know, right? She even got close with the invincible Mikey. Sucks for her, he left her ass!" Hastu shouted, laughing obnoxiously.
Sola looked over at me worried, while I tried my best to calm myself.
"The tall one was hot too. I heard he got shot. Sucks that he died right in front of her. Seems like everyone that's around her dies!" Yami said.
"She lost everyone. They were probably just as pathetic as her!" Yami added, snickering.
Now, I said I didn't care about her and her friend's words.
But that was it.
Sola shot me a look telling me to ignore them, but I got up and went to Yami's seat.
"Stand up." I said, giving her a blank look.
"Why should I?" She asked, smirking.
"Stand. The. Fuck. Up." I said, now lowering my tone.
