Tokyo Revengers and the characters...
If you were to ask me 11 years ago if I'd see myself in America, working with someone to clear my name and find my father to figure out the truth behind my mother and sister's death, I'd laugh in your face and say no.
Shocking news, that's exactly what my life is now.
It's been 5 years since I left home, all of my friends, and my love.
Sometimes I wonder if what i've done was worth it, because absolutely nothing new has happened since.
Naoto's friend, Lillian and I decided after a year that it would be more convenient for us to be roommates.
She's been my only friend ever since I came here.
My old life was basically thrown away since I had to leave with no traces of me left behind.
I just wish this could all be over.
The front door slammed open, in walking a familiar brunette and blue eyed female.
"Talk about hectic day! I'm pooped!" Lillian shouted, closing the door and dropping her things onto the ground.
I stayed sprawled out on the couch, going through the T.V channels.
"Hey, how was work?" I asked boredly.
"You'll never believe what happened." Lillian said.
I turned to look at her.
"Turns out, Mr. Gordon, the one who owns that pizza shop, he was using a fake name this whole time. He's actually a registered sex offender and we caught him. The others shut down the pizzeria!" Lillian said with a scowl on her face.
My eyes widened.
"No fucking way." I said shocked.
Mr. Gordon's pizza was everyone's go to pizza place in the town we lived in.
Shocking how things work.
"Looks like we'll need to find a new pizza joint." I shrugged, turning back to the T.V.
"How about you? How was work?" Lillian asked me, sitting next to me on the couch.
"Same old B.S. These girls are bullying this other girl. Poor child almost passed out from a anxiety attack. I let her stay in my office for the day." I told Lillian.
She pouted.
"Kids can be so mean." She grumbled.
I nodded.
I worked in a middle school as a guidance counselor.
It was never pleasant hearing about bullying incidents.
"I talked with the principal though, he plans to talk with them tomorrow. I hope he suspends them." I said.
"Me too. If shit ever gets violent, you know who to call." Lillian smirked.
Lillian is a police officer, hence how she knew Naoto. She had to go overseas about 7 years ago for a case, and that's how they met.
Sighing, I turned to look at her.
"I'm just worried because we live in such a small town and everyone knows everyone, especially those kids. What if she runs into those girls outside of school?" I said, my face full of concern.
Lillian grabbed onto my shoulders.
"Like you said, it's a small town. Police officers are everywhere, they'll stop it. I promise." She said.
I smiled lightly at her.
"That's Lil." I said.
"Now, let's talk about this. What's new with your dating life?" Lillian asked.
I immediately groaned.
"I told you. I'm not interested in dating." I grumbled.
"Girl, you are so pretty and have a great personality! What's stopping you?" She asked.
I looked at her.
"Oh..." She mumbled, remembering.
"I just can't see myself with anyone else other than him. There's no way." I said.
Lillian hummed, listening to me.
"You know, we had a dream. A dream to open up a dessert shop somewhere out of Japan. I still want it to come true. I just don't know if I can see him anytime soon." I explained.
"Why's that?" Lillian asked.
"What if i put him in danger? I mean, we still have zero answers to why my father's trying to frame me, and it's only a matter of time before they point fingers at me again for the accident-"
"(Y/n)! Calm down. Everyday Naoto and I check in about the case. He was able to clear your name." Lillian reassured me.
"Okay, but what about my Father?" I said.
"We'll catch him. But I promise that you're safe." She smiled.
I looked down at my lap.
"I miss him. Mikey. I think you'd like him a lot." I said.
"Yeah? What's he like?" Lillian asked, trying to lighten up the mood.
For the rest of the evening, we talked about the happy memories I had in Japan.
"Hey Naoto, I need you to get a number for me."
HEY! So I'm excited to start this up again. Here's an example of how Lillian is suppose to look. (Credits to the picrew, i'll post the link)
