When people are in love, sometimes they do crazy things.

Sometimes it can be extremely unhealthy.

Sometimes people stalk their love interest or even cause harm to others that prevent them from getting close to their love.

That's the scary thing about love.

It can make you blind.

Nobody wants to go crazy for someone.

But sometimes it happens without you realizing it.

New Year's Day was right around the corner.

Emma and Mikey practically dragged me out of my room to go to the festival with them and Draken.

Did I want to go?

No.

Did I have a choice?

Of course not.

So naturally while Emma dragged Draken around and Mikey got some Taiyaki and Dorayaki, I tried my best not to die.

It was one of those days where I was feeling more anxious than usual, and I desperately wanted to just take some drugs so my mind could relax.

So that's what I did.

Mikey didn't see me.

"(Y/n)! Want some?" Mikey asked, holding some of his Dorayaki to me.

I nodded frantically and ate it. I was starving.

Mikey chuckled. "Damn woman. You were hungry." He snickered.

I rolled my eyes, blushing a little from embarrassment.

"Y'all didn't let me eat before we left." I grumbled.

"Because you were in bed practically dead 10 minutes before we had to go!" Mikey shouted.

"I was tired!" I yelled back.

"Wait for me! My Ema!" I heard a familiar voice call.

Just then Mikey caught something.

"Your Emma? What do you mean by 'Your Emma'?" Emma asked, now glaring at Takemichi.

"Emma! No I didn't mean you." He panicked.

"Did you meant this?" Mikey asked, showing the Ema he caught.

"Yes! Can I please have it?" Takemichi asked desperately.

"You look pretty desperate. Okay! Here you go." Mikey says, handing it back to him.

"Guys let's countdown together!" I shouted, now seeing everyone in a little cluster.

"Happy New Year!" We all jumped and shouted, Takemichi's Ema flying away again.

But what really caught me by surprise, was Mikey kissing my cheek.

"Happy new year (Y/n)!" He smiled cheekily at me.

I blushed.

"Yeah, happy new year." I smiled shyly.

Soon enough we had another Toman meeting.

Mikey dragged me here. He said "you would want to see this."

They explained the Christmas battle and Hakkai apologized to everyone, to which they all cheered for him.

I was happy Hakkai was happy.
