Tyrone

"Are you serious Kash? Why would Jahmelle have Damon move in with him? I mean this makes no sense to me at all. This is like him inviting trouble to his front door." I told Kash.

"I know that man I know but we all know how he is when he gets something on his mind. You can't tell him something, it'll go in one ear and out the other." He said as he rang my items up. "Alright, that'll be $12.25¢." He said. "And look don't worry about Jahmelle I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing he has a good feeling about Damon and I feel like he's doing the right thing, that's just my opinion though."

"Well I hope you right man. And like you said man we both know how he is. I also hope he's doing the right thing." I told him as I left the store. I swear Jahmelle always had a soft spot for them bad boys, hell i mean that's why me and him hooked up all them years back because i was a bad boy. Anyway I went back to my place, well Shawn's old place and I got my groceries and drinks out of the car and took it into the house. I turned the television on to BET (Black Entertainment Television) to see what was on TV, a rerun of Rap City from the previous day. As I put the groceries up my phone rang. I saw that it was my manager. After hesitating for a second I answered the phone.

"Hey Tyrone how's it going? Did you miss me?" He asked as he laughed. "I hope you haven't been avoiding me."

"No, not at all William. It's just a lot going on here. It's a lot going on in my mind. Checking on my mother making sure she's stable and she's doing alright after this whole thing with my brother, but no I have not been avoiding you." I honestly told him.

"Well that's definitely a good thing and everything but when are you coming back to philly?"

"To be honest with you William I don't know. I'm thinking about moving back to St. Louis."

"Wait, what do you mean you're thinking about going back to St louis? You didn't tell me that. I'm your manager, and not only am I your manager but I'm your friend. You're supposed to let me know what you're thinking. So we can decide what moves come next." He said as he shouted into the phone.

"I know that William I know that. But also remember like you just said you're my manager. MY manager. Like I said I had a lot going on so I had to figure things out day by day. And at the same time I have a lot of unfinished business here."

"That unfinished business would not happen to be Jahmelle would it?" He asked me. "Now look, are you sure you want to go down that road? That could be a big blow to your career and not only your career but your livelihood as we know it. You know the world isn't gay friendly and you doing something like this could be career suicide."

"I know that man, I know that but me and him have a complicated history. We haven't seen each other in a number of years and seeing him again after this has brought up a lot of emotions that I put behind me or so I thought. You know me and him went out on a date last month right?"

"Wait a minute, you went on a date last month?"

"Well I really wouldn't call it a date. More like me and him just went to the drive-in movie theater."

"A drive-in movie theater? They still exist?"

"No it was just a special event and they did it at a park and everybody drove in."

"You and him were in public? Do you know what that could do to your reputation?"

"Look I don't give a damn about all that. When I'm with him I can be myself and let my guard down. Like I said, me and his friendship goes way back more than me and your friendship. And if anybody has something to say about my friendship or relationship with him then I can fix that real quick. Anyway, what are you calling for?"
