Eternity

I'll never know eternity,
I must make this time last.
I'll die before forever,
I see future. I see past.
Tomorrow never truly comes,
I only live today.
Yesterday I've seen before,
The past's not far away.
The claws of time will grasp and stretch,
Leave heartache in their wake.
Captured in the storm of life,
The strongest branches break.
I've never known eternity,
This time can never last.
No one will find forever,
There's no future. There's no past.
