This poem is speaking to/about the same people Don't Know spoke to. The first stanza is to the friend who moved away, the second is to the one who cut off our friendship.

Lessons
-[- C - L -]-

I learned so many lessons,
When I was friends with you.
I learned to lighten up, I learned
About the things I value.
I've learned so many lessons,
Now that you are gone.
I've learned to cope with grieving,
I've learned I can't move on.
These lessons I will cherish,
Because they're from my friend.
These lessons I'll remember,
Until my lifetime's end.

I learned so many lessons,
When I was friends with you.
I learned to see my worth, I learned
To see how much I'm valued.
I've learned so many lessons,
Since you have been gone.
I've learned to choose friends wisely,
I've learned how to move on.
These lessons I will cherish,
But not 'cause they're from you.
These lessons I will cherish,
For they helped me find my truth.
