𝕹othing lasts forever. Even the natural universe will fall to the palms of time.

If literal gigantic balls of gas can fall pray, then measly little humanoids stand no chance.

In the end, everything will be stripped of everything. The end of Sebastian Payne was nearing with every hour, as the fate of every mortal.

The end of the beginning, and the beginning of the end. Two phases.
Two lives.

All shall be told from the written text. The only restraint from doing so was time.

Sebastian and Ayame woke up, took a shower, then went to the airport. They boarded a plane and headed straight to South Korea.

A quick and fast sequence to the start of a new adventure in another country.

The two had stayed in Japan for a week, and all those seven days were spent doing and eating things around Japan.

Luckily for Sebastian, Ayame had convenient and magical ways to get around.

However, they decided to use a plane to get to South Korea, because the ride is an essential part of a travelling experience.

In the plane, Ayame and Sebastian sat next to each other in first class seats.

The latter was sleeping soundly while Sebastian was amazed with the sight of being above the clouds.

[Planes..... are scary.]

He had seen planes in videos before, but actually riding one was a completely new experience.

Imagine a strategic plane in a war from his time. Such an advanced technology would decimate any enemies.

He turned and reclined his head into the seat. After closing his eyelids, Sebastian slowly drifted off into a state of nothingness.

About half an hour later, the plane touched down at the Incheon International Airport.

Instant sequence; Sebastian and Ayame stopped by a restaurant in the airport to half-fill their stomachs.

On a single plate, were rolls of gimbab, a dish similar to sushi.

Sebastian took a roll off the plate and carefully brought it to his mouth. With one big bite, he inhaled the whole thing into his mouth and chewed on it savoringly.

The slightly sweet taste of the rice, the crunchy and slightly salty dried seaweed taste, the rich flavor of the pork belly filling, as well as the refreshing carrot pieces and other types of vegetables mixed in his mouth.

The gimbap was a mix of different heavenly foods, which in turn, ascended the roll beyond heavenly. Although that might be an overestimation, the gimbap was indeed, very delicious to Sebastian.

"This is so similar to sushi, yet different in subtle yet meaningful ways."

"Well, that's one way to describe it." Ayame only smiled in response to his opinion.

The two finished the plate in a matter of minutes and went on with their journey.

After checking in at their hotel and stroking their bags, the two went to a park to walk around and admire the greenery for a bit.

Jayu Park, an urban park which held multiple historical monuments. It was built at the end of the Joseon Dynasty.

They arrived at a couple of sharp-pointed triangular pillars built in an unusual angle so that they leaned towards each other.
