𝕳is body shook as a response to Ayame's nudging.

"Sebby-san, wake up." She whispered.

His eyes opened as he inhaled the air. He looked at Ayame with tired eyes and analyzed his surroundings.

They were on a plane, and was about to land in Iceland.

"We're about to arrive." Ayame said while looking slightly worried.

[He's been unusually tired these past few days... I'm kinda worried. Is he not getting enough sleep?]

"Hm..." Sebastian hummed listlessly and turned his head away from her to look outside the window.

"Are you okay? You've been kinda out of it since this morning." Ayame asked. Truthfully, he was acting weird since the injection, but that day was particularly more noticable than the others.

"Yes, just tired from waking up." He replied.

"Well, you better get some energy 'cause we're going to go skiing!" Ayame said in enthusiasm and pumped her fist up, trying to infect Sebastian with it too.

"Hm..." He hummed in response.

Her face fell to an unsatisfied one as she stared at Sebastian. Her arms laid on the armrest and she waited patiently for the plane to make a full stop while occasionally glancing at Sebastian.

[He kinda reminds me of teenage me... Wow, that's a weird thought. Might as well induce myself with a flashback while waiting.]

-indeed-

Ayame's face contorted to one of fearfulness. The beast in front of her slowly approached her while bellowing viscously. She was petrified on the ground in unadulterated horror, not daring to move at all.

The beast, at least twenty times bigger than sixteen-year-old Ayame, was evidently a classic interpretation of a chimera.

"I-I'm.. sorry. I-I didn't mean to..." Ayame muttered, hoping with all her being that she would survive the ordeal she was in.

The chimera stopped its advances, and glared into Ayame's crimson orbs. She felt like her soul was being pierced by its gaze alone.

Its snakehead tail moved curiously towards her. Her eyes frantically glanced between the lion head, the goat head, and the snake head.

The lion head intriguingly sniffed her, while the snake gently licked her cheek.

"G-Good... boys..? Please don't hurt me..." She muttered with a drip of hope.

The beast backed off, and turned away completely. Ayame breathed a sigh of relief and closed her eyes.

Her shaky hand reached up to her cheek, and after she opened her eyes, the snake launched itself at her with its mouth agape.

She made a panicked and sharp inhale, and her head was gripped by the snake.

The snake then exerted all the force it possessed and Ayame's head—

-indigo-

Ayame's nostrils took in a sharp breath of air, and her eyelids shot open.

She blinked numerous times while taking in her surroundings.

[This room.... again.]

The 'White Room'. A room with only the color white, and also a room where her injuries were treated, from her mental, physical, emotional, to even the soul.

Her mother was in the room as well, looking down at her literally and metaphorically.

"It seems you did not learn you lesson." She said without emotion, causing Ayame to side-glance her with a nasty look.
