The dreams about that cavern have returned.
A figure with bright cerulean hair was pulling at your arm, her ponytail bouncing against the back of her head. The way she ran seemed more like she was bouncing. You turned to see the ceiling behind you was caving in, and so the two of you sped up.
The exit was blocked by more rocks, and the cerulean haired woman managed to teleport you to the other side just in time.
You both collapsed to the floor, exhausted, and examined your surroundings. There was a large bowl in the centre, containing a small, blue pendant, which you reached out for. As soon as your fingers made contact, however, a dark shadow emerged from it, taking control of your body.
You turned to the cerulean haired woman, whose face seemed a blur. Pulling out your spear, you lunged at her with a loud yell. You couldn't stop - you were going to hit her, and she couldn't see. She was going to be hurt, but-
You sat up abruptly, breathing heavily. To calm your beating heart, you gently placed a shaking hand on your chest, taking deep, calming breaths. Suddenly, you realised that you were no longer on the balcony of Vah Naboris, but instead you were laid in a bed, which seemed to be located in Riju's palace.
The odd thing was that you now wore a different outfit - a vest and pyjama bottoms - and were loosely wrapped in a blanket.
"Are you okay?" a tired voice asked from nearby, and you felt movement - someone coming towards you.
The initial fear you had felt from hearing his voice had now subsided. "Oh... Link, did I wake you up? I'm sorry, just had a bad dream..."
"Did you dream about that weird cavern too?" he asked, yawning. Suddenly, your senses felt sharpened and you were more awake.
"Yeah, but we weren't in the same place. How did you know?"
Link shook his head, then laughed. "That's weird. I was with you and some other person. Guess you didn't dream about me, huh?"
You smiled, then began to think. "It's weird. All of my dreams seem chronological. If we're not in the same place, do you think something - or, in the worst case, someone - separated us?"
"Maybe. Let's not worry about that now, okay?" Link continued, placing a hand on your shoulder and squeezing it gently.
You nodded tiredly, then yawned. "Goddesses, I'm exhausted. That fireworks show was great, wasn't it?"
The blonde hummed, and patted your shoulder. "I think I should go back to sleep. It's late, and I need to be alert to keep you safe, yeah?" He gently stood up, then headed over to where you knew the sandstone sofa was.
"Where are you going?" you asked, sitting back up in bed and looking over to where you assume he was.
"Back to my bed," Link muttered.
You patted the duvet. "You can sleep here, by the way. It's got to be comfier than that stone sofa."
Your suggestion was met with footsteps against the cold, stone floor, and Link leaned closer to the bed. "Is that even legal? I don't mean anything inappropriate will happen, obviously, but is it allowed for me to even be in the same bed as you?"
"Of course! I don't mind, honestly. Let's just not tell anyone, okay?" you laughed, moving over in the bed and closing your eyes again.
Link slowly sat on the bed, and carefully laid down. "Okay. This bed is a lot comfier!"
"I know, that's why I offered. Goodnight," you sighed, turning away from your companion.
As you slowly opened your eyes the next day, you felt quite a shock when you came face to face with your blonde companion.
