The audience was silent, the competitors were silent. After the fight that had just taken place, nobody knew what to say. There was an overall feeling of discomfort over the entire location. Especially within Kami. She could sense Goku's confusion and sorrow, had he really made that promise to Chichi? Was Kami just getting in the way? She tried to push these feelings down and focus on her surroundings. She just stared at the platform, hoping the world would move on. A few moments later the announcer was back. The next match would be between Krillin and someone named Junior. Kami could see Goku and Tien on the other side of the arena, where the fighters can watch. She saw unease in Tien's eyes, and an unmatched intensity in Goku's. Who was this new competitor? Kami watched Krillin take his place, he was ready. Just after him came his opponent, Junior. He was green, and wore a wrap around his head with a matching cape. He had a menacing energy about him. "He's powerful," Kami read Tiens lips. "Yes," Roshi said quietly. "And very dangerous," Roshi continued as the tone switched from uncomfortable to tense.

As the match began, Krillin chose to attack first. For a moment, it seemed as though Krillin had the upper hand, as his attack sent Junior fleeing to the sky with an incredible jump. Moments later he came back down, completely unscathed. The two exchanged fast blows, almost invisible to the untrained eye. The fight moved from the ground into the sky, something Kami had never seen before. A few moments later Krillin fell from the sky, and it seemed like he would land outside the bounds of the arena. Just before he touched the ground- he stopped midair. "He's mastered the hovering space trick," Roshi said almost to himself. Krillin takes a stance before junior once more, with intent in his eyes. The two seem perfectly matched at this point. They stay locked completely still for a few moments before Junior lets out a menacing laugh. "I must admit you've surprised me. Your moves and techniques are adequate- for such a limited mind. I congratulate you. Forgive my bias, I see now that I can afford to show you- a little," Junior flashed an almost evil smile after his monologue. Krillin frowned, not moving and inch. "What do you mean, a little of what?" He asked, still focused on his opponent. "Hah. My real power, unrestrained," Junior teased. "Real power? Ok, let's see it," Krillin clapped back. Junior began to laugh, almost boasting. "Krillin,"Goku shouted from the sidelines.  "He's dangerous," Goku continued, his intensity more present than ever. "Hah, we'll see," Krillin taunted his opponent. They stare at each other, junior with a smile. Junior offered Krillin a chance to withdraw. "Stop laughing," Krillin shouted as he attacked head on with everything he's got. Junior just seemed to take it with no repercussions. "Where's that real power you were bragging about?" Krillin shouted with a smirk on his face, still his stance never wavering. "This is going to hurt a little bit. But rest assured, I won't kill you," Junior responded matter of fact. Just then, the sky began to darken, all the blue in the sky being covered by storm clouds. Lighting began to strike nearby, as if Junior had commanded it. After another bout of stares and silence, Junior's arm extended, in an inhuman way and grabbed Krillin who was nearly ten feet away. Krillin barely broke free and came back with an attack, but Junior was able to fend him off with ease, although he was no longer smiling. "You should have quit," Junior threatened Krillin who was now in the sky above him. Krillin was no longer smiling either, and decided it was his last chance to attack. "Ka... me... ha... me...," Krillin pulled both of his hands together in front of him, then slowly brought them to his side as a ball of light formed within them. "It's over Krillin!" Junior shouted, still trying to taunt him. "HAAA!" Krillin released his attack on the opponent, and it seemed to have hit him- but just then Junior showed up behind him in the sky and smacked him to the ground leaving a broke piece in the platform. The dark sky started to become clear once again. "How disappointing. I didn't want to kill him- not before breaking every bone in his body," Junior taunted as his feet landed gracefully back on the ground. Krillin was still. Junior smiled in his success. But Krillin moved. His body shook as he pushed himself up into a seated position, facing his standing opponent. "No," Junior took a step back in shock. "It can't be," he stood still staring. Krillin smiled weakly. "I'm done," he said softly, but with a smile. That was it. Krillin decided to throw in the towel. He knew this opponent was too strong for him. The audience was stunned.
