[Special Chapter]

---

The sea was endless, waves clashing together with force more robust than anything before. The sails ripped from the wind's powerful gusts, and the deck flooded. Sailors ran from one end to the other, slipping and colliding, trying to get control of what they all hold dear. What came of these sailors? Why was this happening?

"Captain! This storm is too bloody cruel! We must take cover!" The crewmate crashed against the wall making whatever hung fall to the ground in a loud thud.

"Keep your hat on your head. We are not giving up so quickly!" The captain flared his nostrils at the salty smell of the ocean, and water covered his face and body. Salt burrowed deep into his eyes, though he kept them open.

"Captain, we must! We cannot fight the forces of nature. We are bloody humans, not gods!" His voice quivered from the fear. Though his captain was fearless, he was also arrogant.

Before the captain could open his mouth, a wave bigger than the seven seas raised above them like an angry god. Thunder cracked in the covered sky, and waves pushed the sea around like a ragdoll. The tide came crashing down, seconds from death. Only prayers were told that moment. The captain and his crew sealed their eyes shut covering from the monster that was about to hit them, and then-

"A large sea witch came from the waters deep below, bellowed a song so beautiful that the wave split into two and clashed next to them. The water stinging their faces and ears!" (Y/n) bounced up and down in joy and excitement.

"No, that's not how my story goes!" (Y/n)'s sister Rose exclaimed. She smiled at the young child's goofy behavior. Rose watched as her sister jumped up and down on her bed, making wrinkles and tossing the pillows onto the floor.

A loud thump was heard only to Roses's ear, her eyes widened like dinner plates. She stood up faster than the speed of light and tried to hush the energetic child.

"Hush! He will hear you!" But all hope was lost when the real sea witch came bashing through the door.

"What is all this ruckus! I am trying to get some bloody sleep, but all you chil'ren keep making so much racket!" The older British woman screamed. Her voice was hoarse from the long puffs of smoke she took all day. Her clothing was that of a pink gown, white slippers, and her hair in a bun. A mud mask layed glued onto her face, stretching with all its might as she threw a fit.

"Nothing, caretaker! I was reading a bedtime story to all the children." Rose put her hand protectively around (Y/n). Before any other words were spoken, a large slapping sound vibrated across the room. Rose held her cheek in one hand while the other held (Y/n) tighter.

"You keep your stupid mouth shut! I was talking to the girl!" She spat with so much venom her mouth could start to foam. The caretaker grabbed (Y/n)'s arm and dragged her down the quiet hall. (Y/n)'s bare feet skidded across the cold, splintered floor. She whined and cried all her tears pleading her care taker to let her go.

"Keep your mouth shut rat! This is what you get for making a fool out of me!" The older woman hissed. (Y/n) knew where she was going, the coal bin—the biggest and darkest room known to all the house. The furnace could heat a room so fast that it would be considered a fire hazard. Rose dashed down the hall and pushed the older woman down. The woman let out a deafening scream, her body slammed onto the ground.
