My feet stopped in the corridor suddenly when those brown dark eyes met mine. I blinked my eyes rapidly and looked away. Anywhere and everywhere but him.
He wasn't moving and I didn't make any attempt as well. I was frozen at my place as if that way...

❝Be with someone who won't stay mad at you, who can't stand not talking to you and who is afraid of losing you.❞

THElights flashed in the sky while making it bright just for a few seconds. The darkness grabbed again the very next moment and it was followed by the loud noise of thunder. It started pouring the very next minute. The drops of water hit the closed window of his small room.
He had rented this apartment before their marriage so they could shift here right away. He had already decided to cut himself from the family business but he further went ahead and decided to go independent completely so he doesn't have to rely on them for anything.
It was his ego that had cut him from them and his mind and heart were too stubborn to accept it.
There were just a couple of weeks left for the marriage and he had engrossed himself in the business making as he hated to be looked up to as jobless.
Not just for himself but he hated to see Taara facing those questions about him as well. She didn't mind and stood like a pillar all those months they had been together but now it had started frustrating him. It was eating him from within.
His thoughts were shaping into reality too well with help of Akash, Taara and a couple of more people yet they were struggling to find their clients.
They were new in the business and thus it was hard for people to accept them or trust them with their assignments. And those who gave them work were the ones who knew Rishit because of his father or brother.
He hated to admit it but he was still indirectly living on their favours. He sighed while pushing the laptop away in frustration and looked out of the window.
It was pouring hard by now with lightning and thunder accompanied. The mobile vibrated at some distance but he kept gritting his jaw tightly while ignoring it.
It was late in the evening and he need not have to look at the screen to tell who it was. Taara always called around this time after she was out of her office.
