HIS hands played with the tap of the pen. It made a ticking sound every time he took the tap out and put it back. Akash was sitting right in front of him as he silently noticed what his boss cum friend continued doing for a few more minutes.

He would choose to let him do whatever he wants than intertwine in his matter and take his wrath. He rested his back in the chair happily and moved his gaze around the big cabin and its stunning dark interior. He was more of a bright person and loved keeping his surroundings that way as well. That's why he didn't like being in this dark environment.

Not just his surroundings were dark but the person sitting before him has turned into his coldest self lately as well which was another reason for his disliking for this place.

But he was happy to be at peace for once at this workplace in months. Lately, it had been chaotic around since the news about the wedding of Rishit's ex-wife and archenemy has broken in the news.

He wasn't exactly an archenemy until a few months ago but now he had taken the place of the most hated person in Rishit's life since that divorce.

He got introduced to that name, Abeer Vora when his then-wife told him about her ex-lover before their marriage. But never in his nightmare did he think he has to see this day where she will be going back to that lover while leaving him.

He didn't understand her move, he hated to even think about it and took that anger on people around him. Akash had been closest, so most of the time he became Rishit's soft target. Akash stretched his legs further and smiled happily a little.

"You seem to be too happy today," He heard Rishit's cold voice and got startled. He attempted to seat straight in his place but his hand slipped from the chair's handle. He moved down but adjusted again. It took a couple of minutes but he managed well as he pressed a smile at his friend after his little victory.
