Doyun hyung:
I know you're stressing right now, but for your own sake just breathe

Jimin:
Nnnnnooooo. I can't

Are you about to go in?

Doyun hyung:
I shouldn't be telling you but maaaaaybe

Jimin:
Oh god

Doyun hyung:
I'm gonna hit you

Jimin:
Maybe that'll help

Doyun hyung:
Where are you?

Jimin:
Dance studio.

Doyun hyung:
Cool, I think we might ask you in after the chat, so stick around!

Jimin:
IM RUNNING AWAY

Doyun hyung:
You do that and I'll kill you. I don't want another choreographer.

Jimin:
Aw. Hyung.

Jimin stood outside of the door that led to the office in which the higher ups were discussing his position. His heart was about to fall out of his chest, that much he knew. Why did stuff like this always scare him to this extent? No, this time was worse. Because if there was a chance of him losing this job, there was a lot more at stake than just the job itself.

He couldn't lose this. Not again. Not after last time and the heartbreak that came with it. That's he felt like he was about to faint.

"Come on in" a voice from inside calls out that he can't quite place.

When he enters he sees three people. The boys manager, Doyun and another member of staff who he has only seen a few times before.

"Sit" the manager, Sejin, says with a smile.

Jimin wipes his sweaty hands on his trousers and sits opposite the three. It felt like an intense interview or something.

"You can take a breath" Doyun chuckles, wanting the guy to relax since everyone could tell how nervous he was.

"How are you getting on Jimin? Here?"

"As the choreographer?"

"Mm".

"I uh...I feel like that I've learned lots from Doyun, he's very kind and helpful and I've been able to grow as a choreographer. The guys are also very kind to me, and have taken everything I have suggested on board. They're amazing performers and I'm sure you know by now how proud I am to be here, how happy I am to be back and I can't imagine myself being anywhere else. I always continue to improve myself and my work and aim to show that th-..."

"This isn't an interview Jimin, dont worry" Sejin chuckles. "Are you happy here?"

"Of course"

"Have there been any problems?"

"None since-..." But he gets cut of by Doyun

"Don't bring him up, I'm still not over it"

The third staff member chuckles and even Jimin manages a little smile.

"We've all noticed how hard you've been working and we want to thank you too for everything you've given to the group and the company. I know there were times where you weren't meant to be working but you came in to cover. The boys also speak highly of you. We've already talked about everything earlier, so if you're still happy to continue, we'd love to end the probation period and welcome you on board as an official BTS staff member"

Jimin wants to scream but he has to keep his cool. The big smile on his face gives him away.

"Thank you so much"

"No problem, just keep up the good work and report back to Doyun if you ever need anything okay? Welcome"

Jimin stands up, bows to all three and leaves the room. With no one watching he starts stomping his feet and does a little dance out of happiness. So now it's official. He is BTS's choreographer and he wasn't going anywhere.

"To Jimin" Namjoon announces a few nights later when they finally had the time to celebrate together. They had gotten together at a restaurant where they were able to be in a private room. All of the boys cheer happily and Jimin smiles like a mad man before downing his shot of Soju.

"Like I ever had a doubt he wouldn't pass" Hobi says, knocking his shoulder into Jimin's.

"It was just scary cos like what if" Jimin says.

"Oh my god, enough what if's hyung" Jungkook groans teasingly. "You're here, and staying with us and you can relax and just have fun tonight"

"I swear all of you have a shoot tomorrow" the brunette points out.

"Ah we'll be fine it's not like we're going clubbing for the whole night, now Jungkook pass the sampgyeospal please" Yoongi says to the maknae.

The group continues drinking chatting and interacting and as if the world suddenly slows down, Jimin takes the opportunity to view the scene in front of him. Everyone was happy, laughing, downing drinks and eating food. Someone swore, which set someone else off and all he could think about was how ridiculously happy he felt in that moment. They all came out to celebrate his probation ending, and they all did so more than willingly. It truly felt like a little family he had right here.

With a smile on his face Jimin shakes his head in disbelief at his luck and downs one more shot when Namjoon clinks his glass with his own.

"To us!" Namjoon shouts out.

"To the rest of our lives!" Hobi adds, bringing his shot glass up higher before the rest of the group joined him .

"To the future" Jimin says quietly before downing his drink once more.

But boy little did he, or any of the boys know what the next year had in store for them.

And not all good...
