The next day Kanan got released from the hospital and went home with Chika. "Kanan, since I'm pretty much traumatized by you being locked in a room alone, you can't lock your door," Chika said. "Okay, but you can't come barging in every five seconds." Kanan said, "Okay, wait, are you even allowed to negotiate with me?" Chika asked, "One more thing every week, you need to try and go diving." Chika said, "But Chika, I can. I'm traumatized....." Kanan said, "You might be, but I also know diving helps with your mental health Kanan so you're going to and today's your first day." Chika said "Have you two come up with any ideas?" Kanan asked, "No, Honoka-San, and I still haven't figured out any ideas. Maybe diving will help." Chika said as they went inside and saw everyone. "I still don't think me diving is a good idea....." Kanan said "Chika-San I agree with Kanan she's not ready......" Dia said "Kanan you're going to try!" Chika said as they changed into their diving suits.

They get on the boat and started the boat and started driving it. "Kanan-Chan where are we going? This isn't the usual place we dive...." Riko said as Kanan stopped the boat, "Chika-San, don't make her do this, not here....." Dia said she was extremely worried about her friend, knowing they never found Mari's body. Kanan explained how to dive and everything before diving in; she swam, looking for Mari's body "You shouldn't go down there this is where the helicopter exploded....." Dia said, "Then why did you let her go down there!" Chika yelled, "She's looking for Mari's body....." Dia said as Kanan kept looking for Mari's body and saw something that made her stop. "Mari...." Kanan thought, swimming back to the boat, getting on it, and going to her regular diving spot stopping the boat as everyone except Kanan dived in. Kanan knew she shouldn't have looked but she needed to know. "Mari....I'll visit you everyday and talk to you." Kanan said

Once they got back to the dock, Kanan's cousin, Claire, showed up with her friends. "Kanan!!!!!!!! Why didn't you call and tell me you were in the hospital!!!!!!!!" Claire yelled as Kanan got off the boat and went inside to change "Ahh!! It's μ's!!!!!!" Claire exclaimed, fangirling for five minutes, "We're doing a joint live show!" Chika exclaimed as they went inside and changed. Kanan was sitting on the couch. "How are you doing?" Claire asked, "Well, I'm not going to college, and I'm never leaving her, so yeah." Kanan said, "We got it!!!!!!!" Chika and Honoka yelled in unison. "What idea?" Kanan asked "The theme for the song is underwater secrets!" Chika exclaimed, "Fine. I'll pick out pictures of Mari that fits the theme." Kanan said not okay, but she decided to act like she was. Kanan went to her photo album, then got up and headed toward the door. "Wait, Kanan! Come back!" Chika yelled as Kanan kept walking. Dia decided to see what was wrong with the photo album. "Every picture in our photo albums of Mari is gone....." Dia said.

Kanan got to where she was going. "Hello, Hug, I see you found my little surprise." Mari's Mother said, "Where are the photos?!" Kanan yelled, "Gone! I burnt them!" Mari's Mother said, "Whatever happens to me is your fault!" Kanan yelled as she left without saying a word and that was the last time they saw Kanan of course she didn't leave Uchiara but no one could find her.

The next day Claire checked with her aunt and uncle to see if Kanan was there. "Where is she?!?!" Chika screamed in frustration. "She's not with her parents......" Claire said as Chika looked down, "Onee-Chan is still looking for Kanan-Chan she hasn't slept yet...." Ruby said, "Anna-Chan thinks Kanan took a trip....." You said.

Meanwhile, Dia was looking for Kanan, and she wasn't going to stop until she found her, but Claire was worried about Dia's health, so she sent Kasumi and Saya with her. "How about we take a break, get something to drink and eat, then start again." Kasumi said, "I'll eat when I find Kanan." Dia said as she kept looking for her best friend. "Kanan.....where are you....?" Dia thought as she kept looking.

The next day they filed a missing person report. "Hopefully, the police can find her," Dia said. She had been forbidden from searching more until she rested as Mari's Mother came in. "Hello, I saw you still haven't found Hug." Mari's Mother said, smiling, "She left because of what you did!!!!" Dia yelled, "Well, I, for one, hope she dies and never comes back!" Mari's Mother said. Well, that did it for Chika. She broke down in tears hugging You. "We're never going to find her. If she wanted to be found, we would have found her." Chika cried now, You had to stay strong even though she wanted to cry. "Don't say that, Chika. We need to stay positive!" Riko said, trying to stay positive. "Have fun planning her funeral!!!!" Mari's mother said as she smiled and left. "Funeral?!" Chika cried harder. Even You's eyes widened when she heard that. "We are going to find her, right?" You asked as Dia looked at them. She didn't want to make false promises. She just hoped the police could find her.

A few days later, they found Kanan's body. Chika was locked in her room in tears. She wouldn't let anyone in. Dia was worse than Chika in two years. She lost both of her best friends. She didn't know what to do without them. You was always outside Chika's bedroom door. She wasn't going to leave her.
