The Funeral

It was the day of Kanan's funeral. Anna was in Kanan's room. She's been sleeping in there for the past few days. "I miss you, Onee-Chan....." Anna cried, hugging herself. Kanan's Parents were heartbroken. "Why didn't she tell us any of this....." Kanan's Mother cried, "I don't know, but at least she's not in pain anymore......" Kanan's Father said, hugging his wife as there was a knock on the door, and Kanan's Father opened the door to let You in. "Chika-San isn't coming?" Kanan's Mother asked, "I tried to get her to come. She still thinks she could have done something to help her......" You cried, "You-San do you know why Kanan did this?" Kanan's Mother asked, "Things happened to things Mari-San left her, and Mari-San's Mother said stuff to her and about her....." You said as Anna came downstairs dressed "Where's Chika-Chan?" Anna asked. "I tried she wouldn't come out. I'm still hoping she'll come....." You said.

At the funeral, it was hard, but they got through it. They would never know if Kanan would have gotten better. You knew it wasn't the same without Kanan. She kept drawing Dolphins. She thought it would make Kanan happy she also checked on Chika because she knew Kanan would want her to. She stays strong for Chika and breaks when she gets home.

After the burial, You went to check on Chika. She put on her facade and went into Chika's room. "How was the funeral....?" Chika asked, "It was a great service...." You said, "I miss her...." Chika said as she cried. You hugged Chika. "I miss her....." Chika cried as You started to get upset. "Chika, I'm going to go home. My mom is probably worried about me now. I'll be back later." You said, hugging Chika as You left as she got home.

You just broke down in her room. "I miss you, Kanan. I've been drawing dolphins for you, Kanan....." You cried "You you're father is on the phone." You's Mother said "I just want to be alone right now....." You said as her voice cracked. You's mother closed the door. "I've been checking on Chika. She's just as sad as me. Why didn't you come back? We could have found a solution, Kanan. You could still be here with us......." You cried

No one got over Kanan's death, and nobody was ever the same again. Kanan, however, was reunited with Mari though she didn't commit suicide, as the police said. Mari's Mother murdered her. They soon went back to normal will as normal as it could be Dia graduated, and so did Kanan and Mari but Dia decided to go to college near home so she could still visit them.
