I think River knew the kind of love I deserved.

The night of October 21, 1988

We walked into the fancy restaurant, to be greeted by a waiter.

"Reservation for Phoenix please." River smiled to the gentleman.

"Right this way." he grabbed two menus them lead us to a nice table in the back.

River pulled out the chair for me to sit, then sat down himself. The waiter took out order for drinks, I got a soda while River just got a water.

While we were looking at the menu I noticed that River looked uneasy. He kept looking at other tables, looking nauseous.

"You okay?" I asked him. His attention went from the tables, with other people, to me.

"Yeah." he nodded, unsurely.

After a few minutes he said "Excuse me." got up then ran off somewhere.

'Oh great.' I thought to myself. 'I ruined another date with my ugliness.'

I got up to go find him, as I walked passed the Men's restroom I heard what sounded like a puking sound.

I knocked on the door and said "River?" after a few moments the sound stopped and I heard a flushing.

River walked out of the bathroom, looking terrible.

"Are you okay?" I asked. He slightly nodded.

"You're not." I confirmed. "You were just puking. Do you not feel good?"

He sighed. "It's not that, I just saw that so many people had meat on their plates, and I couldn't take it." he shook his head.

I had totally forgot that he was vegan. "We can leave if you want." I said.

"I don't want to ruin our date." he said.

"You're not ruining it, if you don't like it here, we can always do something else." I smiled.

"How about we have dinner at my house?" he questioned.

"That sounds great."

We arrived to a house, which I'm guessing is his.

"I still love with my Mom and Dad, so they might be in there." he laughed.

"That's fine." I laughed with him.

He opened the door for me and we both walked inside.

"River, you're home so soon?" I heard a feminine voice from the other room say.

"No, Mom, we actually decided to come here instead." he told the lady.

He lead me we onus the corner to see a lady standing in the kitchen.

"Why, Hello! I'm Heart, Rivers Mother." she held out her hand to shake.

"I'm Teegan Rowchel." Is shook her hand.

"I think River had mentioned you before, sometime." she smiled. I smiled back.

"I love you dress!" she said, looking at it.

"Thank you." I thanked her.

"Do you mind if we have dinner here?" River asked her.

"Not at all, we're having chili." she said. I looked at River in confusion.

"It's vegan chili." he told me.

"Oh, I see." I nodded.

"Your Father took out your siblings so it'll just be us tonight." she said to River and he nodded, his jaw line looked perfect when he nodded.

I can already tell that I'm falling for him.
