Elrond's Daughter, Thandruill story

Reunion in Rivendell

Y/N has been home for 2 weeks now and is really missing Thandruill, they have been writing to each other but it's not enough. Elrond is still thinking about letting Thandruill court Y/N and it's driving her mad, when she asks him he just smiles and says ( i will decide soon).

Y/N is in her fathers study helping him organise the feast of sunset, he is sending out invitations but won't let Y/N invite anyone. After she finishes her work she goes to find Arwen, she finds her in her chambers and says ( is Ada acting strange). Arwen looks at her and says ( I don't think so), Y/N sighs and sits next to her. Arwen looks at her and says ( he still hasn't answered about courting Thandruill) Y/N shakes her head, she sighs and says ( he won't let me invite anyone to the feast). Arwen closes her book and thinks, she asks ( is he making you wear a dress) Y/N nods. Arwen hugs her sister and says ( don't worry i will talk to him), Y/N smiles and says ( you might annoy me but your a good little sister) Arwen laughs.

3 days before the feast and Y/N is having a final fitting for her dress, she is sulking that she has to wear one. Arwen walks in and sees Y/N face, and giggles and says ( smile sister the feast is in 3 days). Y/N rolls her eyes and says ( 3 days till I have to wear this for hours), she gets out of the dress and lays down on her couch. Arwen says ( what's wrong), Y/N looks at her and says ( Thandruill hasn't answered my last letter, what if he has changed his mind). Arwen looks at her and smiles and hands her a letter, she says ( this has just arrived). Y/N opens the letter and smiles, she reads it and says ( did anything come with it) Arwen hands her a pouch. Y/N opens it and pulls a beautiful necklace out, she smiles and says ( he says to wear it at the feast, and think of him when wearing it).

The day of the feast arrives and Y/N is busy making sure everything is ready, she hears the horn and says to herself ( more visitors). Arwen comes and says ( it's time to get ready, don't forget the necklace), Y/N smiles and walks to her chambers. Her maids help her with her hair and dress, after they leave she puts the necklace on. She looks in the mirror and says ( I miss you Thandruill), Arwen walks in and says ( you look beautiful sister, now it's time to start the feast). They walk out and stand next to Elrond who gives a speech, after the speech the music plays. Everyone is having a great time, but Y/N who is talking to a guest is finding it boring.

Elrond walks to his and says ( my I have this dance daughter) she nods, they dance and he says ( you look bored). She smiles and says ( everyone has the same stories, or the elons flirt with me), he smiles and says ( I think the night will get better). She hears a voice behind her saying ( can I have a dance), she turns round and sees Thandruill. She smiles then jumps into his arms, he spins her around and says ( you look so beautiful). She looks at her father who is smirking and says ( thank you Ada), she dances with Thandruill who explains everything.

They walk to the gardens and he says ( Y/N would you give me the honour of courting you), she nods and he kisses her with passion. When they pull apart he says ( I have missed you so much), she has tears in her eyes as she says ( i have missed you too, I was getting ready to run away) he laughs as he hugs her. He says ( did I hear some elons were flirting with you), she giggles and nods she says ( i said if they try, their head would be my trophy). He spins her around as he laughs, he says ( but your not armed). She pulls a dagger out of her boots, and says ( I'm always armed) and she smirks. They go back to the feast hand in hand, and see Arwen and Elrond smiling at them.
