Capítulo X- Solamente estamos pasando por aquí
Atsuki never worried about the weather. It wasn't until the temperatures dropped suddenly she needed to have a layer of warm clothing under her usual attire. Luckily, she went to buy more material recently with Gojou on her birthday, one she will never forget. The first-years already had their school uniforms and a scarf of their choosing to warm them up.
Atsuki walked alongside them after training, she was starving and she couldn't wait to wash off the sticky sweat that dried on her skin. She stopped when an unsettling feeling piled at the pit of her stomach, she glanced around to find Yuuta come to a complete stop, as well. He gripped the strap on the katana bag over his shoulder, observing the area.
"Yuuta, everything alright?" Atsuki asked.
He didn't look at her and kept his stare at a distance, "Um... I just had a bad premonition."
"You're imagining things," Atsuki heard Maki assure.
"Yep, imagining things," Panda added.
Toge was the only one who looked back at the two, "Bonito flakes."
Atsuki wasn't sure if it was the same feeling she got around curses or because she sensed something was off about Yuuta. He jogged after them and dragged Atsuki with him so she wouldn't be left behind. "Huh? Guy, wait-"
Panda waved it off, "Well, your ability to sense cursed energy sucks, you know."
"No, I feel it too," Atsuki interjected.
Maki elaborated, "It must be Rika. Since Rika is always around Yuuta, your senses are off."
"Tuna."
"Are you sure?" Atsuki asked. "Maybe if we take a look around?"
Maki huffed, "Fine if it'll ease you, we'll take a look." As she was going to turn around, her eyes caught something in the sky. She removed the bag hanging on her shoulder as it lowered, "That's unusual."
Panda followed her gaze, resting his hands on his hips, "Their intuition was correct."
"Salmon."
A white four-winged creature flapped down, sending a breeze to Atsuki's face. It pushed her bangs back and her two braids on each side of her head waved side to side. She unbuttoned the pocket on her waist, sneaking out a pink card when someone jumped off the bird-looking curse. He wore a black robe that draped over his body with splashes of green and yellow, half of his black hair was tied up and nearly met the same length as Atsuki's, and a bang rested perfectly in front of his left eye. "Who's that?" she asked.
Maki unveiled her spear and prepared herself to swing it if they attacked. "You're not staff."
"I don't think we'd be on edge if he was," Atsuki replied, stepping one foot in front of the other.
