Capítulo II- Itadori Yuji
Atsuki and Megumi were able to get some information from Itadori's friends. It wasn't much because Itadori kept to himself unless someone asked. The duo went back to their hotel to change into their jujutsu high uniforms. They wouldn't be able to fight a curse comfortably in the clothes they wore if they needed to. When they arrived at the hospital, it wasn't hard to locate Itadori. His yellow hoodie and pink hair helped. He was at the front desk signing papers with a duffle bag next to him.
"Itadori Yuuji," Atsuki began.
Itadori's smile fell turning to the two jujutsu sorcerers. He recognized them from the track field. Specifically, Atsuki and her vibrant hair. They didn't wear casual clothing from earlier. Atsuki was in her jujutsu uniform she custom-designed to her liking. She still had her splashes of color on her uniform unlike Megumi's, whose uniform is all navy blue. The only thing similar was the buttons sewn in.
"I'm Atsuki Sugiyama and this is-"
"Fushiguro. We're from Jujutsu High." He remained stoic, "We'd like to have a word with you. Now."
Itadori scratched the back of his head, "Uh, hold on a second." He said something to the receptionist that sent a confused and odd look to them. Atsuki and Megumi backed further away so she wouldn't hear their conversation. Itadori trailed behind them. "I'm, mourning right now."
Atsuki apologized, "We're sorry. It'll be quick and then we will be on our way. You have something of ours that we need back. The cursed object you have is extremely dangerous."
"Cursed object?"
Megumi typed in his password to his phone and showed him the photo of Sukuna's finger. It was wrapped inside a box with its lid propped against it. "This."
"Oh, yeah. Yeah, I found that." Atsuki shifted in her place. Itadori leaned against the bench. "I don't mind either way, but my senpai took a liking to it. What do you mean dangerous?"
Atsuki let Megumi explain. He explained things better than her when it came to curses. "The number of unexplained deaths and missing persons within Japan exceeds 10,000 on average. Most of these are a result of curses."
"Curses?"
"I don't care if you believe in them or not. They're real. I'll go on. Large pools of negative energy form especially easily in schools, hospitals, and so on. Hardship, regret, shame. The negative emotions of mankind become the source of curses. That's why most schools secretly keep a cursed object such as a protective talisman. The object you found is one of them."
Itadori raised his hand, sitting on the bench, "If it's protecting us, shouldn't we be grateful for it?
"Let me finish. Placing a cursed object greater than evil is a deadly poison that keeps other curses away. It's a bad practice that only claims to protect. Over the years, the seal weakens and then it becomes bait to lure in and fatten up other curses."
