I must have met over 30 people just walking around aimlessly. I met a girl who could walk through walls and even a guy who had snake skin covering his body. I'll be honest, I almost threw up.

Unconditionally, we all just walked around and talked. I find myself slowly settling in to the school but still isn't the same. I miss my home, my room. I can't deny that. My heart aches in longing. I shouldn't be thinking of home.

"Where are we going?" I say as we walk around the mansion.

Summer says in front of me, "Just trust me." The longer we walked forward the less people I see.

We come to the end of a dark hallway. As Summer bursts through the door, we all come face to face with cold air. The green grass, covered by darkness, is a reminder of the danger that we shouldn't be out here.

I look up immediately seeing bright stars. I take a breath and look at my new friends. What exactly do they have in mind? Won't the Professor be mad with us for being out at night? This seems like a bad idea.

"Wha-" I say but stop short when Chloe puts her finger up to her mouth to silence me.

With guilt overwhelming me, I follow behind them clutching my cold self. I wasn't much for breaking the rules. Heck, I was a straight A student.

We reach woods and start to enter. The easiness inside me grows as cold air blows on me. I don't like it out here.

Before stepping inside the woods I stop, "Wait, I don't know if we should." I whisper to them.

They stop and turn around to look at me as if I was crazy. What was wrong with inside where there is light, warmth, and people?

"Don't be such a baby Charlee. Just trust me and come on. Hurry!" She whispers to me motioning for me to follow.

I roll my eyes and continue. This feels wrong.

After walking for a short five minutes in the dark woods, they suddenly stopped. We stopped near a secluded spot far away from civilization, far enough that no one can see or hear us. Even a scream couldn't be detected, which could be a good or bad thing, matters what you're doing.

The moon is bright enough that I can see a pile of cut up wood. Summer kneels down and pulls out a lighter in her pocket. She lights the fire and sits down allowing the warmth of the fire to surround her. Chloe sits opposite of her. I sit in between them as my heart races in confusion.

"What are we doing here?" I say aloud.

"Just having some fun." Chloe smiles knowingly. Summer and Chloe look at each other before Chloe gets up. Chloe walks to the tree next to her and brushes some leaves off to unveil a pack of cigarettes.

What. The. Hell? I am not becoming that person who is known for taking drugs! I refuse. Well I guess it's just a cigarette but still!

Summer throws over the black lighter to Chloe and the whole time my mouth is ajar in shock. Am I really seeing this? My parents were very strict with me about alcohol, drugs, and sex. I basically never got out of the house. I didn't mind that much. I didn't have many friends to go out with anyways. I can just picture my friends going on with their lives just as if I never existed. Maybe it's better this way. They don't have to tag me along anymore.

Chloe lights a cigarette and hands one to Summer.

Summer looks at me, "Do you want one?"

I shake my head, "I'm good." I say nervously. Their smoke fills the air. It smells gross. White smoke filters out of their mouth into the air.
