I feel excited every time the first day of school comes. I want to explore new environment, new rooms, new faces and new... friends.

"We should be together every time," I sigh when Ace whispered that in my ears while we're walking to the hallway. "Sa tabi lang po dapat kita, Alana Brielle."

I stopped walking when I felt his arms draped in my shoulder. What is he doing?

"P-Pasensya na," mabilis niyang inalis ang kamay niya at napapahiyang naglakad nang mabilis.

I felt my heart thumping inside. I shrugged off my body and continue walking just to get near to him again. Parang bata!

Tuwing magkakasabay kami, mas bibilisan niya pa lalo. Hanggang sa makarating kami sa scheduled room namin ngayong araw. Pinagtinginan tuloy kami ng ilang kasama namin dito.

"Are you sure you're taking this course?" I asked when I realized that we're having the same course since we're classmates. Again. "Just to remind you, civil engineering was—"

"I know, Alana Brielle," he cut me off. "If your dream course is this, I also want it." He explained with a smile on his face. "Pangarap ko rin po ito. Lalong-lalo ka—" his words cut off when our professor arrived.

"Good morning, everyone, I'm Professor Glen Sonnet your instructor for this subject." He professionally introduced himself in front while having a bright smile on his face. I'm not sure if he's young because of his aura that gives some vibes just like us. I mean, mukhang magkasing-edad lang kami ni Prof. Glen.

As for the tradition, first day of class was to introduce your name. Nakaka-umay.

"Okay, Miss?" Prof. Glen pointed his hand in my direction and that's my cue to stood up and introduce my name to everyone here in class. "Good morning!"

"Good morning," I bowed down my head. "Alana Brielle de Guzman is my name. Actually... I already graduated in college last May. Thank you," I was about to sit down when Prof. Glen say something.

"You already graduated, huh..." Prof. Glen said while nodding his head. "From what course?"

"Business Administration, Professor." I politely answered.

"Oh!" His eyes widened. "Then why you're studying again? Board exam na lang ang kukuhanin mo, bakit hindi mo pa kinuha?" He added again a question.

I just smile. "Because this course is my dream profession. Thank you," umupo na ako sa upuan ko dahil bigla akong nailang. I just don't want to talk about it. Ayaw kong humaba pa lalo ang usapan.

"Good morning,"

I take a deep breath and take off some thoughts in my mind and get focus again.

"I'm Race Gomez," he introduces his name. "And I have the same profession with the girl beside me. No more question, Professor. Thank you." And then he sits down.

"Sorry to ask this, but are you two together?" Prof. Glen suddenly asked while staring at my direction and Ace. His question made both of us cough in unison. "Oh, I'm sorry. I think it's too personal."

"Issue," he rolled his eyes that made me let out a short laugh. "What? We're just—" he cut his words and looks away. "Wala pong nakakatawa, Alana Brielle."
