SPECIAL CHAPTER. GF-FORHIRE

"why is oikawa on stage?" ushijima tilted his head to the side in wonder when he saw oikawa get up on stage.

"no idea." tendō shrugged as they all looked a the seijoh captain who was getting a guitar strap slung over his shoulder.

the setter was smiling at utsui who helped him set up. "thanks."

utsui only chuckled at what was happening, "anytime, man."

seinaru blinked at oikawa, "shittykawa-san, are you sure you can play the guitar?"

the setter gasped in faux shock, "hey, rude! of course i can."

he huffed, "besides, your lead singer had to take a break so i decided to volunteer my super talented self."

the girl just shook her head at the guy, laughing lightly. "well then, knock yourself out."

oikawa grinned at the laugh he managed to get from the girl and glanced at utsui and the rest of the band who gave him a thumbs up.

"hi, i'm toorū oikawa and i'll be singing something from olivia rodrigo's sour album." he spoke into the microphone. "this one's dedicated to the drummer."

a series of glares, shocked faces, and gasps echoed throughout the ballroom.

"yeah, i like her so what? everyone does." he sassily snapped his fingers in a z motion. "let me sing my ballad in peace, thanks."

then, hanuka started the first notes to the song on her piano.

"bus rides, just to see you. to be your boyfriend, a lesson for two. and trading bentos, oh how bad i wish this was all true.." oikawa sang, into the microphone with hanuka and ichigo as his backing vocals.

seinaru blinked, he surprisingly has a good singing voice.

"watching your games on repeat. being annoying, since you left miyagi."

bokuto clicked his tongue, akaashi bearing the same glare as his captain as they looked at the guy stage.

"i bet he's bragging to all his friends, saying you're so unique, hmm.." he gave a side glance to seinaru who was narrowing her eyes slightly at him.

utsui started playing the bass lightly, along with ichigo, ryuguji, and oikawa who were now strumming their respective guitars harmoniously.

"so when you gonna tell 'em that we did that, too?"

oikawa felt approximately thirteen, if not, more, glares burning through his skull as he sang.

"he thinks it's special but it's all reused. that was our place, i found it first. i made the jokes you tell to him when he's with you~"

kuroo glared at the singer on stage. he was getting bad vibes from this guy. and by the looks of it, so was kenma as the setter was glaring at the guy as well.

"do you get déjà vu when he's with you?" he looked at seinaru behind him for a brief second and winked.

atsumu gritted his teeth in annoyance, so did kageyama. unknown to them, sakusa was also narrowing his eyes at the display.

"do you get déjà vu? hmm.." he hummed, hanuka and ichigo both harmonizing with him.

"do you get déjà vu, huh?"

then the band started playing louder, with the drummer finally joining in as she played along with the harmony.

"do you call him, almost say my name? 'cause let's be honest, we kinda do sound the same.."

seinaru looked at oikawa who was intently looking at her as he played the guitar and a the same time held her gaze.

"another captain, i hate to think that i was just your type.."

another round of glares to the back of his head courtesy of all the captains who were her clients in the area.

"i'll bet that he knows how to flirt, 'cause you taught him chapter eight."

ushiwaka glared harshly, tendō was sure oikawa was burning through the ace's gaze.

"you're learning it together, now i bet you even tell him how you love him, in between his lessons and the breaks."

he paused playing the guitar, leaving the guitar riffs and rhythm to ryuguji and ichigo as he started walking towards her, the cords of the microphone and the guitar following him as he went.

"so when you gonna tell 'em that we did that, too?" he sang directly looking at seinaru who was playing the drums with amusement in her features at how oikawa was literally throwing her shade.

"he thinks it's special but it's all reused. that was the Show we talked about, taught you the set he's spiking now when he's with you~"

he grinned, seeing seinaru shake her head in amusement as she played the drums skillfully. "do you get déjà vu when he's with you?"

"do you get déjà vu? oh.." hanuka and ichigo sang along with him.

utsui was having a field day, just seeing ymari get shade thrown at her like this was fun!

"do you get déjà vu, oh!"

"teaching him lessons, go to my school. don't act like we didn't do that shit, too. you're trading bentos like we used to do~"

"yeah, everything is all reused." hanuka and ichigo sang.

"set to his spikers, but he doesn't know, that i was the one who taught you volleyball. a different guy now, but there's nothing new~"

"i know you get déjà vu!" he sang the last note.

seinaru laughed out loud, her eyes glistening with amusement as she waved oikawa over when the song ended.a

"so? how was that?" the guy grinned at her and she just continued laughing.

"you didn't teach me volleyball, shittykawa-san."
