"this next set is my life!" hanuka grinned at ichigo who just rolled her eyes playfully.
"stop, your gay is showing."
nozomi looked behind her to give seinaru the go-signal to begin the set.
the captain nodded and banged her drumsticks together.
"1, 2, 3!" utsui counted.
nozomi started to sing along to the beat of the drums and the strumming of the bass and guitars, "this girl moved into my apartment-"
"one day!" ichigo and hanuka were the backing vocals.
"one look at her my heart was stopping-"
"heartbreak!"
"i did whatever she was asking. she said, 'maybe later, catch you in the elevator!" hanuka winked at a random female volleyball player in the crowd who fainted at the flirtatious demeanor of the power forward.
"a couple days we got to hanging-" nozomi sang.
"real close!" utsui, hanuka, and ichigo backed up.
the lead singer sang again, "turns out she wasn't even taken-"
"solo!"
"i made a move she said, 'baby you're mistaken. i'm not into bacon!" utsui sang.
ymari played the drums skillfully, bobbing her head along to the catchy beat.
"she's got that smile! and that body is to die for. one of a kind, and that's why it makes me cry!" nozomi sang as the others backed her up.
as ymari started to play the chorus, her sticks coming onto the cymbals and the snare, she looked up. and almost instantly, her eyes locked with blueberry ones.
" 'cause i found a girl who's in love with a girl!"
'shimizu kiyoko.' she recognized the female in the waitress outfit.
her eyes never left hers as she continued playing skillfully.
"she said that she tried, but she's not into guys."
kiyoko looked like she was blushing profusely. the manager of karasuno's hold on the empty tray in her hands was starting to falter as she felt herself shiver in sheer excitement. she couldn't even tear her eyes away from seinaru, the girl she hired to be her 'boyfriend' last year.
'shimizu kiyoko.' she scolded herself. 'get your act together.'
however, when seinaru shot her a smile, her already-thin resolve crumbled and her heart skyrocketed into orbit.
"oh why, tell me why, did i fall for those eyes? she said, i was nice, but she's not into guys. i found a girl!"
