Accumulated Trauma

Chapter 1: Caught

⚠️trigger warning: panic attack, theft, kidnapping, use of guns, and murder worries⚠️

 You reach the store. You take a deep breath and walk in. 

You walk to the chocolate section, because those would be easier to steal.

You grab the chocolate and try to walk out, but the shopkeeper sees you. “HEY STOP! STOP RIGHT NOW! YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THAT!”

JJ, who had been watching you, goes on comms. “Derek, she's made a run for it”

You run to an alley, but notice someone following you, so you keep running. 

D - “hey kid! Kid stop” STOP RIGHT THERE!”

He corners you in the dead end of an alley. “Please, you have to let me go. I need to save him. Please”

Within seconds you hear sirens. “No no no, please. You have to let me go, they are going to kill him”

You start having a panic attack because you know what is going to happen if you are not back in time. You start to hyperventilate. 

JJ notices and lowers her gun. She goes up to you and tries to calm you down while you are freaking out and having a panic attack.

She has calmed you down a little, and tries to get you to stand up. You stand up, but are extremely unbalanced, so she supports you to the car. 

You get in the back but make no attempt to put your seatbelt on or anything. JJ and Derek get in the front seats and start the drive to the precinct. 

You sit silently, with your mind on your brother. By this time, you have lost all hope of getting him back safely. You check your watch and sigh, with a tear falling down your face.

You arrive at the police station, and JJ helps you inside because you are still shaky and unsteady.

She walks you inside, and past the team, however you keep your head down because that is what you were taught to do when you are with people without your father present.
