Chapter 9: Found

In the interrogation room.

Luke has finished with the coordinates and given description of each site. He also gives Kate and Derek the names of the other two guys, and also the name of the leader, Simon Ward. Derek takes the papers out to the others while kate stays with luke

L- “what if you don't get there in time?”

K- “i can't promise that we will, but i can promise we will do our damned best to bring them home safely.”

L- “thank you”

K- “what are their names?”

Luke smiles. “I chose them. When my mom got pregnant and found out it was twins, she let me choose their names. But she had one condition.” he chuckles a little “they had to rhyme.”

Kate smiles

L- “it took days, i could barely sleep. But one morning I woke up and I knew what I wanted to name them. I ran into my parents bedroom and woke them up screaming ''I know i know” he laughs “my mom woke up and said you know what honey? And I said I know their names. She pulled me into her lap and rocked me back and forth like she always did, and I told her. I said their names will be savannah and sarah, and you musnt change them. She just hugged me and said they were perfect. She didn't even care that they didn't rhyme perfectly, she loved them."

Kate smiles and holds his hand. “I promise we will do everything in our power to get them back” and standing up she says “and we have a lot of power”

He laughs and she leaves the room.

With the others

Kate returns to find the team discussing all of the coordinates trying to narrow them down.

H- “they would need somewhere secluded. If they have multiple prisoners they would need somewhere off the beaten track, somewhere someone wouldn't just stumble upon them”

Re- “okay so we can clear these ones” he crosses off a few addresses.

D- “it would have to be big enough to hold the prisoners, so i doubt it would be anything house like, it would be too risky for them to escape.”

Re- “agreed so we can also get rid of these.”

They are left with three addresses.

Re- “Garcia, look up this one. Statistically this one has the highest probability of being what we are looking for.”

G- “okie dokie, so that one is on the edge of a small town, it's not really populated, and it has a bad rep for violent crime.”

R- “check the other addresses just in case there is something the boy didn't tell us.”

G- “yes sir” she checks.

G- “okay so the first one had recently been sold and is now being renovated, and the second was demolished two weeks ago”

D- “okay so that first one is clearly where she is being held”

H- “agreed. Let's get moving before it is too late.”

They all start getting ready and Emily does too. 

H- “nope”

E- “what?”

H- “you are on strict orders from your doctor to not engage in any combat.”

E- “and i won't”

H- “i will not risk you being caught in the crossfire”

E- “hotch please-”

He considers for a moment before saying “you can come along. But you are not to enter the building until you are given the all clear, got it”

E- “yes got it thank you”

H- “okay let's go”

They make their way to the address and Emily and Garcia come too, but stay behind when the others enter the building. Pretty soon there are shots fired, and not long after they stop again. Emily sits there anxiously, worried for you, JJ and the team. 

With you

A couple hours after leaving you, he comes back into the room, however you are still unconscious. He tries slapping you to wake you up, but it doesn't work. For a moment he thinks you are dead, so he checks your pulse. When he realises you are still alive, he leaves and comes back with a bucket of freezing water. He chucks it over you, and it wakes you up. You wake up in a tremendous amount of pain, and groan. He laughs at you and comes back over. He unties you from the chair and ties your hands behind your back. The pain from the movement makes you cry out, so he punches you in the stomach, and you fall to the floor. He kicks you and keeps hurting you for another hour or so, before one of the other men rushes in saying, “boss, they are here”

He looks down at you on the floor.

S - “lovely”

He leaves you on the floor to go and help the other two try and defeat the team. It isn't long before the other two are shot dead, so he takes his chances and runs back down you. He grabs you up off the floor, and holds a knife to your neck as the team runs down the stairs, pointing their guns at him. The team looks at you shocked, covered in blood, cuts and bruises.

H - “let her go simon, this isn't what you want”

S - “oh but you are mistaken, this is exactly what i want, she betrayed us.”

JJ - “if you are mad about the betrayal, take it out on me. I'm the one who made her talk.”

S - “ahh so you are the blonde who took her from the store then? I remember you”

JJ - “yes, that was me”

At this point, you are barely conscious, and everything is blurry. JJ notices you closing your eyes, and says “y/n you need to stay awake okay, i need you to stay awake.”

Simon looks down at you and back up towards JJ. “Oh so that's what this is? You want to save her? Oh how sweet” he says before stabbing you in the stomach. 

JJ- "NO!"
