Behind the mirror
Hotch - “Garcia you there?”
Garcia - “I'm here, what do you need?”
Hotch - “we need you to look up any malls that were built outside of a forest in the area”
Garcia - “Okay, there are two forests in the area, but only one with a mall in the vicinity.”
Rossi - “whats it called”
Garcia - “it is called cloverfield forest”
Reid - “okay, now check to see if there is any old building like factories or something in the forest”
Garcia - “checking and….. Aha!”
Reid - “what?”
Garcia - “there is indeed an old factory there my fellow genius”
Hotch - “good work garcia, send us the coordinates”
Garcia - “already did my lovelies, safe travels!”
Reid - “thanks garcia”
They follow the coordinates and arrive.
JJ - “this place just screams creepy”
Morgan - “id say we definitely found the right place”
Hotch - “yep. Okay let's split up, JJ and Morgan, you go in the south side, Reid and Kate, you go in through the fire exit, and Dave and I will go in through the main entrance.”
Everyone - “got it”
They go their separate ways, and JJ and Morgan are the first to enter. As soon as they walk through the door, Hotch and Rossi are met with one of the suspects.
Hotch - “hands in the air!”
The guy does not listen and instead tries to shoot at them, so they fire back and hit him with the bullet. The commotion puts everyone else in the factory on edge, and the rest of the bad guys come out of hiding to try and escape. They all fight the team, but are ultimately defeated.
Derek - “I thought there would be more.”
Kate - “yeah me too, this does seem like a smaller number than we profiled”
Rossi - “So the question is, where is everyone else?”
Hotch - “that does not matter at this moment, what does matter, is finding Jack and anyone else they might have hostage. JJ and Dave, you two stay with this lot, and make sure they don't escape, medics and backup are already on the way, so if we do find Jack, we should be able to get him the help he needs.”
JJ - “why can't I help look for Jack? y/n is going to be crushed if we don't find him”
Hotch - “That is why. You are too close to this. You've bonded with y/n more quickly than anyone could have imagined, so you might potentially put the operation at risk should something happen with jack”
JJ - “fine”
They go their separate ways, and it isn't long before Derek finds Jack tied to the chair in one of the rooms.
Derek - “Down here! I've got him!”
The others rush down as Derek is taking Jack out of the chair and laying him on the floor. He sits back and sighs in frustration. Kate walks around him to look at jack.
She looks down and says “a single gunshot wound to the head…”
Derek gets up frustrated and punches the wall.
Hotch - “morgan! Keep your head. This isn't the outcome we would have hoped for, but the unsubs are in custody.”
Kate - “most of them anyway.”
Reid - “hold on,”
Hotch - “what is it?”
Reid - “I think he's breathing, it's very shallow, but it's happening.”
Kate leans down and checks his pulse.
Kate - “Reid's right, the kids got a pulse. It's really weak though”
Derek looks around. “What?”
Hotch pats him on the shoulder. “He's alive, Morgan, we got to him just in time.”
Derek sighs with relief, and Kate laughs happily, knowing that Jack is alive.
Not long after that, the backup and medics arrive. Jack is airlifted to the nearest hospital, and the others are taken by the officers to the precinct.
Hotch - “lets go home”
JJ - “after we get Emily.”
Hotch chuckles. “Of course”
