DATE WITH IIDA

"Y-N, are you ready to go? Our reservat-" Iida went quite as he walked into your room, as you had given him a spare key in case of an emergency or if he wanted to come over at any point. Yet as he walked into your room and you stood there in a soft blue dress, he would clear his throat "Y-N....Uhh is that...You know what, no, what your wearing is amazing, do you want me to tie your hair up?" As Iida changed his tune to complimenting your outfit you would nod and hand over the ribbons you were putting in the double braid hair. Once done Iida would lean forward and kiss your cheek before shifting you in front of your mirror to show you how you looked, oh how you adored how the dress flattered your body. walking out of your dorm room with Iida by your side the two of you would leave the UA dorms with little chatter to the others as Iida wanted to hurry up to the restaurant as the two of you were already close to been late in Iida's words. As the two of you arrive to the restaurant, you would mentally curse yourself for thinking Iida would actually listen to you and not pick a fancy place. "I know its a little more fancy then you are used to dear but my brother is having dinner here as a favour to the owner" As Iida would explain why the two of you are  at this place instead of just a normal place you would try not to let your disappointment show. This isnt a bloody date! your gonna third wheel Tenya and his brother, but you wouldnt let it show as you didnt want to upset him however Tenya didn't pay attention to you as Tensei walked up and the two started to talk about their family. Walking up to the brothers as they chatted away you would pull your phone out and look through the menu of restaurants around a block or two away in case of an emergency as you figured it would be nice to know what your options are. Moving to behind the two of you, Tensei would push you both up the stairs and into the place before you were lead towards a table in the middle of the restaurant so Tensei could be near by in a very viewable place so people would want to go to a place a popular hero was seen at but also be able to keep an eye on you and Tenya as this really wasn't a place for under 18s to be seen at without parents. Rolling your eyes at the clear thumbs up Tensei gave Tenya, Tenya would finally turn his attention to you with a smile "See Y-N! This place is amazing each table has flowers and quick service" Tenya  said as he motioned towards the vase in the middle of the table. It had some clearly fake Orange Tulips that looked like they didn't even cost 5 cent, bleh! oh how much you hated them, yet you would smile. Smile, Smile, JUST SMILE Y-N, you knew Tenya didn't understand much about love and romantic gestures given every hug and kiss are always initiated by you "Now Y-N, I want you to promise me that you will not look at the price at all and just pick whatever sounds good to you." Iida said as you would nod. Picking the Menu up, you would try not to let it show that you had looked at the menu. HOLY FUCK!?? 30g A1 Wagyu steak with chips going for 60$! There is no way in all of hell you would ever order that normally. reading through the prices,  you would bite your tongue. 53$ schnitzel, or 75$ Seafood basket, 49$ Crab Risotto! The more you looked the more you realised how different you and Tenya was. quickly deciding to get the schnitzel, you would tell Tenya who happily waved down a waitress to order, yet as he ordered you could feel the waitress' eyes judging you yet you could understand why, your dress was a 20 dollar thrift and you loved it yet Tenya was wearing a suit that probably cost 100$ Minimum from how great it looked on him. Once he had ordered and the waitress left, Tenya would clear his throat "So? schnitzel huh? hehe i honestly thought you were going to pick the steak but then again we did have steak yesterday at lunch so i understand your hesitation" Tenya said as he waved his hand as normal. Sighing you would ask him a question that you knew would allow you to just tune out "Hey Tenya, remind me again why your family's hero legacy is...Ingenium?" You would ask which allows you to just zone out as Tenya starts passionately  talking about his family name, after all you knew he was a man who loved his family and his family name. 15 minutes pass as he rambled when he would pull his phone out and look up for at you "Y-N? Y-NN? hey?" Tenya would start waving his hand in front of your face which caused you to flinch back and blink before shaking your head "Sorry! sorry I must have zoned out" You say as you look around to confirm you were still at the restaurant "Y-n? my little genius are you ok?" He asked and you chuckle before shaking your head. "Im fine Tenya, what were you saying?" You would ask hoping he would just go straight back to talking but when he didnt you would gulp "Y-N? You seem very distracted...I know this is all new to you but i hopped you would...love it, you know...i just..." Tenya would slowly start to frown as he realised you were trying to distract him so you could just zone out. Lowering your head you would sigh and shake your head "T-Tenya, you...I mean you cant be serious, i know they are only on me but youve noticed the eyes haven't you. the waitress was glaring at me because I dont fit in, im sure if i looked id have some soot in my hair from the explosion this morning, im wearing a 20 dollar dress, in a place where the cheapest thing is over double the price and everyone here is wearing clothes upwards of 100, 200, hell im sure your own suit probably cost a couple hundred...I just wanted to go to an ice cream place, o...." You were cut off when you felt cold ice water dose you as you would slowly turn your head to see the waitress who was picking up the jug of water she had been bringing over to the table up off the ground. Tenya would quickly get up and rush over, with the napkin that was on his plate when the two of you arrived, yet before Tenya could get to your side the restaurant would soon start laughing at your misery. Cold, the water was ice cold! it was....why is something warm sliding down my cheek? "My lit-" Realising the reason was a tear you would quickly stand up and bolt out the restaurant tears falling down your face as the laughter echoed in your head. meanwhile Tenya was frozen in fear as he realised that bringing you here was a bad idea, taking a step and slumping down back in his seat, Tenya would cover his face as he felt ashamed for what he did "Tenya, are you ok?" he heard his older brother ask him as he slumped in his chair. Looking up towards him Tenya would shake his head and sigh rubbing his eyes "Tensei i screwed up, I shouldnt have bought Y-N here, she was right to try and talk me out of bringing her somewhere fancy" Tenya said as he felt tears fall down his face, he hated to see you cry as it often left him crying also "Tenya, come on it was an accident, a freak accident that no one could have seen happen" Tensei said trying to comfort his brother as the tears fall down his face "Tensei, this isnt their world, this is ours....My little genius isnt used to this, they prefer small things I got them a new set of headphones the other day and they adored it Tensei" Tenya said as he quickly realised something and ran out the door. Rushing down the street, Tenya would try to find you, which was easy as Tenya found you sitting on a park bench. slowing down until he has stopped, Tenya would shuffle closer and sat next to you "...Hey Y-N....Im so sorry...I made a mistake bringing you to that place...I thought i had to impress you but...but your already my partner an..." Tenya would go quite as you looked up towards him, your eyes red and swollen from the crying. It hurt him so much to see you crying, especially when you looked so wonderful. grabbing your hand Tenya would look around before he walked with you towards an ice cream shop. walking in Tenya would smile and look at you before motioning for you to pick whatever you wanted from the shop. Ordering a cup with your favorite ice cream flavour and adding whatever you wanted to it, Tenya would then order himself some Mint chocolate ice cream with extra chocolate before he paid. Once you both had your ice cream and walked out with him "Y-N, tonight was a huge  mess and i really am sorry about that. tonight was supposed to be a special night for us to remember, a day where we could talk about in the future but instead i dont want you to remember what happened" Tenya Admitted as he hugged you, the two of you just heading towards the dorms. "Tenya, every day with you is a day i remember. You dont have to do anything special" You admitted to him as he chuckled and kissed your cheek. walking towards the dorms the two of you would reminisce about the many things you had done together.
